With our social media section “Instant Memories,” we wanted to revisit 40 years of evolution to share a journey made up of changing places and enduring values. From the first production lines to the most modern facilities, each image is a fragment of a story in which innovation, quality, people, and responsibility have always moved forward hand in hand.
Recalling these moments means recognising the value of memory as knowledge: it allows us to interpret the present and build the future with the same vision we had at the beginning.

On International Day of Persons with Disabilities, together with inclusione andicap ticino, we talk about how Design for All—a methodological approach to design products, spaces, and services—can transform environments into places that are truly accessible to everyone.
Caterina Cavo, architectural barriers supervisor at inclusione andicap ticino, reminds us that inclusion is not simply a matter of adapting what already exists, but a design vision that comes from listening and participation.
Thanks to the partnership established this year, we have been able to support real initiatives dedicated to promoting inclusion and accessibility, values that are part of IBSA's commitment to a more equal and inclusive society

The fifth edition of the university course ‘Cultura e Salute’ (Culture and Health), entitled ‘How doctors are using culture, sports, nature, and community service as medicine’, focused on social prescribing. This practice, which has its origins in the UK, integrates artistic, cultural, sporting and voluntary activities into people’s wellbeing programmes and is already recognised in many countries as an integral part of public health policy. The lectures in this edition, promoted by IBSA Foundation for scientific research, the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences at USI Università della Svizzera italiana (Official Page) and the Culture Division of the Lugano Città, offered an updated and international perspective on new complementary approaches to health, including theory, scientific evidence and practical applications.

A quick response can save a life. A few months ago, in the IBSA packaging department in Lugano, Gianni Rigato (Packaging Operator) acted rapidly to help a technician from an external company who collapsed. In recognition of his quick thinking and ability to put his training into action, on October 28, Gianni received the “I Cavalieri del Cuore” Award from the Fondazione Ticino Cuore, an organisation committed to promoting CPR training and raising public awareness.
