First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar inspected the progress of construction of the National Sports University in Astana.

Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zharasbayev and the Vice President of Mabetex Group Agim Pacolli informed the Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar about the progress of construction of the National Sports University in the capital. The construction of the university is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025.

Checkout the Central Concert Hall in Astana. The built form envisions as a “Flower of the Steppe”. The building contains a system of plazas housing shops, balconies, restaurants, two cinemas and Auditorium Concert Hall. The hall is a wood clad shell from within and outside seated deep within the swirling envelope of the building. The building features a thirty-meter-high foyer which extends over 3.000 square meters. Total area of the building is 55,000 sqm.

Checkout Akorda Residence of the President of Kazakhstan in Astana. The building was designed, constructed, decorated, furnished and equipped on a turnkey basis. This building contains the most modern infrastructure and was designed in a traditional style. The first floor includes a Grand Central Hall, the Hall of Press Conferences, the Gala Hall, and the Winter Garden. The second floor includes offices, while the third floor is used for international events, and includes various halls. The building’s height (including the spire) is 80 meters.

Checkout Republic’s Velodrome Saryarka in Astana. The building's shape is a cyclist helmet & for this already recognized as one of the most original sports complex. Under the dome there are various gyms, fitness center, swimming pool, basketball court, skating rink, conference rooms, restaurant and hotel complexes. Capacity of the facility is 9,200 seats. The track has a length of 250 meters covered by a wooden floor with a inclination of 12.5 to 42 degrees. In addition, the complex can be used for concerts, press conferences, briefings.

Checkout the Classic Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Astana.

The theatre covers an area of 64,000 square metres. The auditorium is intended for natural, non-amplified sound, and has been designed for a unique sound experience.

The National Neoclassic Drama Theater in Astana, cultural symbol of the country, covers a surface of 25.000m². The building hosts the entrance foyer, two multifunctional rooms for theatrical performances, musicals and other prestigious shows.

The building is monumental, with the main facade which is a pediment full of bas-reliefs depicting national elements and musical instruments, decorated with precious Sicilian Pearl marble. This is creating a perfect harmony of colors and materials typical of neoclassical architecture.
