About the Observership spent at the San Giuseppe Hospital in Milan, Dr. Ćuk said:
"The four-week ESASO program provided a comprehensive and immersive experience in medical retina, combining diagnostics, imaging, clinical decision-making, surgical exposure, and insights into clinical research. Each week contributed to a deeper understanding of patient-centered retinal care and enriched my clinical confidence. The program strengthened both my clinical skills and my appreciation for interdisciplinary collaboration in an international setting. Also, this experience significantly broadened my professional perspective and strengthened my motivation to continue developing in medical retina. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity and for the chance to meet exceptional colleagues with whom I hope to build future professional collaborations."
Our Observerships are designed to allow fellows to experience how centers of excellence operate, observe leading experts in specific subspecialties in action, and interact with them.
