I didn’t lose my identity when I left academia.
I lost a role.
For a long time, I thought stepping away from my scientific career meant I had lost who I was.
But recently I realized something important:
Identity isn’t your title.
It’s your essence.
Scientist. Mother. Coach.
The roles changed.
My core didn’t.
At my heart, I am still a woman who trusts her body, who grows, who leads with empathy and integrity.
Maybe you’re not lost.
Maybe you’re just evolving.
Who are you beneath the role?
