I received my training at Integrative Nutrition in New York City where I had the opportunity to learn from the world’s leading experts in the field of holistic health and nutrition. I received my 400 Hour Hatha and Power yoga teacher training in Switzerland, 100 hour Hatha Antastha in Goa, India. I did my 100hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training on Body Reading and Anatomy in Nyon, Switzerland with Yogalife school. I also did 100hours of Advanced Training with Yogalife and 50hours of Yoga Nidra training in India. Alongside my busy family health coaching practice and yoga teaching, I am a mother of two, wife, writer for my Fit & Gourmet blog. I also lead workshops on nutrition and offer tailored private or group health coaching, as well as one-on-one health and nutrition coaching packages. Prior to my coaching life, I worked in the marketing departments of international companies. I was in the food and beverage industry for more than 15 years, did many new product launches and campaigns myself. I was a busy working mom, trying to manage my time among my family, house, work, sports, friends...you probably know the story. I changed so many habits that I would never think that I could! I was drinking almost a litre of Diet Coke, 3-4 cups of coffee, plus some black tea. I loved eating cheese and breads/crackers in the afternoon and always snacked in between meals with my "diet crackers"! Tried so many diets and usually disappointed with the results. I had a sedentary lifestyle, had no or just little time to exercise. I did my best for a healthier living yet struggled to keep it consistent. Through my coaching and yoga training, I finally enjoy a healthier lifestyle, consistent and pleasurable for myself and my family. By working together we will discover the food and lifestyle choices that best support you and your family. Getting this kind of support to transition your family to a healthy lifestyle is the best commitment you will ever make (trust me I know, because I have done it!).

💁🏻‍♀️Here is my all time favorite recipe!
Tortillas made from just mung beans, topped with seasonal veggies, cooked with spices, green herbs chutney and some grilled protein (could be cheese or tofu). As a breakfast alternative for vegeterian/vegan lovers, high protein, fiber, healthy fats and lots of healing spices!

Ingredients
1 cup yellow split or green mung beans (or red lentils), washed, soaked overnight and drained
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon himalayalan salt
1/4 tsp asafoetida / hing (optional)
1/2 teaspoon Autumn masala mix or just cumin
1/2 tablespoon ghee
Seasonal veggies
Optional: Tofu or fresh cheese like halloumi or paneer

Method

Wash & drain the soaked mung beans

Place them in a blender along with ginger, spice mix, salt and hing, olive oil, (optional) chillies and about 2 tbsp of water, blend until smooth

It should be like a thick crepe batter. Add a little more water, if necessary

Heat a cast-iron pan over medium-high heat, then coat the pan with ghee

Pour ¼ cup of batter and cook until the bottom is golden and the edges begin to lift from the pan, 2-4 minutes
When you shake the pan, it should easily move. Be patient, if you try to turn too early, it might break apart

Flip the tortilla and cook the other side until it’s firm and golden, for about 2-3 minutes

Repeat steps 2-4 until finished and keep them warm by placing cooked tortillas covered in a cloth or kitchen towel or in warm oven

Place your veggies into a steam cooker and cook until tender,

Add a little olive oil (about 1 teaspoon to 1 cup of vegetables) and salt and mix well -keep warm aside

Meanwhile heat a cast-iron pan over medium-high heat, add Sesame, sunflower and nigella (kalonji) seeds and toast them 3-4 minutes until they are lightly browned. Place in a little bowl for service. Optional: you can grill in the same pan, cheese or tofu for added protein inside the tortillas.

Take one tortilla, spread about 1/2 tablespoon of avocado salsa

Add your choice of veggies, maybe a protein like tofu, sprinkle seeds, and according to your taste some more lime juice and salt and enjoy rolled or open!

😬Detoxing on a weekend can be challenging, unless you organise yourself well. So that’s what I did, made a big batch of mung beans, bread, sweet bites, baked apples, etc.

😮‍💨Eating out is an adventure! I try my best, choose the best possible option closest to detox (meaning gluten, dairy, sugar free, vegan!). In a Spanish restaurant this was artichoke and in a mountain resto this was omelette! In both cases I ate well before going so I was not tempted for anything else!

💁🏻‍♀️So it is all about creating alternatives. And when your mindset is right, beleive me it is not difficult at all. Focusing on things in life other than food, like friends, conversations, nature, wellbeing, etc is possible. Life is also beautiful when you are on a short (or long) term diet plan.

✨Your end goal, like having a healthier body and mind, will give you this power, the mindset and energy to get over obstacles.

🗣️I’ll be talking more about these techniques, strategies at my Tuesday talks, next week at 20:30 CET, answering your questions about Detoxing.

💁🏻‍♀️I’ll also share them at my Ayurvedic Autumn 10 Day Online Cleanse Program starting on the 1.11.2025.

👩🏻‍🍳If you are in the region, come and join my cooking class in Nyon 14.11.2025, Friday 09:00-13:300.

Looking forward to see you in one of these events to dive deeper!

Cleanse Calling! Are you there😅 ? Here is a collection of what I have been eating lately.
This year it feels a bit harder to start the detox! Somehow I don’t want to let go of the summer mood😅 Do you feel the same?
But here I am, against all odds, cause I know I feel so much better in about few days. I eased myself into this detox by decreasing dairy, sugar, meats first. My alcohol consumption is really so little and luckily I am not a big gluten fan.
My biggest challenge is cheese, yogurt and egg! So I allowed my self to slowly phase them out.
With coffee, again it is easier since I drink only decaf now. And during detox I switch to plant coffees like lupin or chicory.
When I go out to an event, I search for detox friendly alternatives. And if nothing is available, I don’t stress. If I can resist the temptation and leave it like that. I do but if not I enjoy the moment and hop I go back to detox.
Before going out to an event like that I check the menu and plan before. Sometime I sneak in my own detox friendly options like mung bean breads!
I also eat a bit before so that I don’t get tempted because of hunger.
And to be honest, the food I eat during an Ayurvedic detox is so delicious, makes me feel so good that, it does not feel a struggle at all! On the contrary, it just feels right and amazing!
I also pay more attention to my morning routine, spend a bit more time for brushing, oiling the skin, going to sauna or sweating in a hot tub🛀🏼

In the end I know my body loves this rejuvenation, I feel younger, more energetic and happy!

Wanna join me? I am guiding a new group on the 1st of November, fist meeting on Saturday morning where I explain everything in detail, give you recipes, ingredient lists, meal plans, replacement ideas, etc.
You will be supported and guided well through the Zoom calls and Whatsapp group, live or at your own time through the recordings.

And it’s not only about the food. It’s also about the daily routines that I will share and guide you to make you feel grounded, balanced, stronger.

Have you been missing out yoga, too? 💚 I realize how Yoga is so important for me when I stop doing yoga.

I feel the lack of calm, peace, strength against challenges of life if I give a break to my practice for some reason.

And I know that our lives are soo busy and when we have a moment we find ourselves lying down and watching Netflix or looking at social media!

❌ Yet, none of those can help you to relax deeply, calm down your nervous system, feeling lighter, energised and free from pain.

😣 Our bodies hold so many emotions. Every time we stress, we put aside a “stiffness”, a “pain” somewhere.

✨ With yoga we reach out to those secret corners of our bodies and mind and can let go of the tightness and pain, which in turn relaxes mind and soul.

🧘‍♀️ If you are a regular student, you know what I mean so well. Your gift is on your mat and right after your savasana!

🙏 If you have stopped doing yoga, let this message be your calling to go back on your mat and start from somewhere.

⏰ It could be just 10 minutes everyday in the morning or maybe you will start a weekly regular classes.

✨ Whatever you choose, your body & mind will thank you!

Mushroom Picking 🍄✨

Here’s a meditation idea: go for a walk in the forest, feel the crisp air, notice how nature gracefully lets go… 🍂 I promise you’ll feel as relaxed as meditation.

This weekend I joined my dear for mushroom picking — my first time! What a beautiful, mindful experience — walking slowly, observing, focusing, fully present. A true moving meditation. 🌿

In Ayurveda, mushrooms are *tamasic* (heavy, grounding), but when local, seasonal, and paired wisely, they can be nourishing too.

We found *Lactarius* (Milkcaps) — learned how to spot, cut, clean, and cook them. Such joy in simplicity and connection with the Earth. 🌍

As autumn invites us to slow down and realign, we’ll dive deeper into these seasonal routines in our Women’s Balance Academy session tomorrow and in the Autumn Cleanse starting soon. 🍁✨
Hope to share and exchange more with you there.

Are you picking mushrooms this season?

Which ones are your favorites? 🍄💛

🌿 Today is World Menopause Day 🌿My menopause journey began in my early 40s — long before I expected it.
I knew nothing about it. I felt lost in my own body.

But through this experience, I discovered something powerful.

By changing my lifestyle, embracing movement, Ayurvedic nutrition, and deep self-care, I managed to extend the end of my cycles by almost eight years.

Menopause is not the end of life —
it’s the beginning of a new, wiser era.

🩷A time to pause, to listen, and to reconnect with who we truly are.

🙋🏻‍♀️So today, let’s talk about it.

Let’s remove the stigma, share our stories, and support one another.

✨ Menopause is not your ending — it’s your awakening. ✨
