The Downward Facing Dog, a pose that is almost impossible to enjoy if your hands are sliding. So, hold on to the sides of the yoga mat if you need to, or use a damp towel or a strap under your hands.

Keep your back straight! Pull the lower belly in! Straighten the leg! Bend the knee! Pull your shoulder blades down! Lift your chest up! Spread your toes! Relax your face! 😂

I mean, it's easy to be confused sometimes. I don't believe in a "right" way to do yoga because all bodies are different, that's why we explore in and around poses to find what works best for you.

Dear Yogis, I always say that I want you to try different yoga classes, different teachers, and different forms of exercise in general. Don't get stuck on just one thing, mix it up a bit!

I've been doing the yoga and gym combo for years, but I recently found a crazy reformer pilates class, in a dark room with loud music, that is so different and gives me such sore muscles 😂 We'll see how long this new found love continues, but at the moment I'm having a lot of fun.

Speaking of fun! Come and join me tomorrow night for an hour of yoga. Let's see what tricks I can pull out of my sleeve 😎
