Warmth is medicine🔥
Some tools I shared with patients today:
Warm food in a real bowl.
Woolen socks on your feet.
Lower back covered.
Slow breathing into the Kidney area.
Less pressure to perform.
more respect for rest.
Sitting around fires with loved ones.
Allowing your creative fire to burn.
Reading fascinating books.
In Chinese medicine the
Water element holds the reserves.
It relates to Kidneys, Bladder, bones,
ears and hearing and more.
They also are your life force guardians.
Care for them accordingly 🙏🤍
Too much Cold drains these reserves.
From outside through bare ankles and cold floors ( going up through the kidney Meridian )
From inside through constant rushing, permanent alert, sleep cut short.
Protecting the inner fire in winter
Prepares you for the spring to come.
Our body is not lazy. It knows to
slow down when the season turns.
