Blue light 🔵 from screens and artificial lighting can disrupt your body’s natural sleep-wake cycle by suppressing melatonin, making it harder to relax and fall asleep.
What can you do?
🌞 During the day:
Reduce eye strain with the 20-20-20 rule: Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
🌙 At night:
From sunset onwards, use blue-light blocking glasses to support your body’s transition into rest mode.
We like the Swannies brand of blue-light blocking glasses, which we offer at the clinic. Feel free to ask us to try on a pair and find your preferred style.
