With PrevCheck, we set ourselves the goal of offering the Swiss population a simple, affordable, and reliable health check. Great emphasis was placed on ensuring that PrevCheck is evidence-based, meaning it deliberately avoids unnecessary measurements that could lead to false positives—diagnoses that later turn out to be unfounded. Such results often not only cause unnecessary and costly follow-up
examinations but also avoidable psychological stress. We rely on the groundwork of many professional associations, research institutions, and health experts. These include, among others, EviPrev, which aims "to promote preventive and health-promoting measures in Swiss healthcare to prevent and detect diseases early, thereby avoiding premature illnesses and deaths", as well as CANRISK, the Münster Heart Study (PROCAM), and the renowned Mayo Clinic in the USA. A key success factor is also the solid knowledge and experience of the staff in our partner pharmacies.
