Love is not only a feeling.
It is a decision.
A commitment.

We decide to try.
We decide to build.
We decide to stay.

In marriage or relationship.
In motherhood.
In friendship.
In career.
In the life we choose.

And sometimes it’s not easy.

Some days it feels light.
Some days it feels heavy.
Some days we forget why we chose it.

But then we remember.

We remember why we said yes.
Why we started.
Why we believed.
Why we committed.

And we fall in love again.
And again.
And again.

Not because it’s perfect.
But because we choose it.

That is real love.
The willingness to fall in love
with the same life —
over and over again.

Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️

Inspired by those who build their own path.

From Macedonia to Switzerland.

I was lucky to be born into a doctor’s family — medicine was in my roots.
But everything beyond that, I built myself.

What may look like overnight success
is years of silent work, discipline, education and sacrifice.

I invested in myself.
I chose restrictions when others chose comfort.
I believed in education when no one was watching.

Today, I am grateful —
to live in one of the most beautiful and safest countries in the world,
to be in a loving relationship,
to run my own practice on my own terms,
and to work with people who truly appreciate my work and the care I give.

Dreams are not given.
They are built.

This is the result after one single session of my Signature Light & Laser Treatment.

A fully tailored, medical skin rejuvenation combining advanced light and laser technologies to address:
• redness & rosacea
• visible vessels
• pigmentation & sun damage
• skin texture & early laxity

Phase 1 – IPL / BBL (Light-based treatment)

We begin by treating the pigmentary and vascular components of the skin:
• first targeting pigmentation and sun damage
• then treating visible vessels, especially around the nose and rosacea-prone areas

This phase also initiates collagen stimulation while calming diffuse erythema.

Phase 2 – Fractional laser (deeper skin layers)

Using fractional laser technology (1550 nm), we stimulate collagen production in deeper layers of the skin, improving:
• skin firmness
• fine lines & wrinkles
• pore refinement
• overall skin quality

Phase 3 – Superficial fractional laser (finishing & glow)

The treatment is completed with a superficial fractional laser (1940 nm) to:
• refine the skin surface
• enhance brightness and natural clarity
• even out remaining pigmentation
• deliver a healthy, natural glow

The redness visible in the images is purpura — a controlled and intentional clinical endpoint when treating rosacea and vascular skin.
It is part of the healing process and typically improves significantly within ~10 days, with results continuing to refine over the following weeks.

Today, skin quality matters more than ever.
This treatment takes years off sun damage, improves tone, texture and clarity — and is absolutely worth it.

I did this treatment myself.
And I love the result.

At the last IMCAS congress dinner, someone asked me what my favourite travel destination is.

And I realised — some places stay with you not because they’re beautiful,
but because something in your life changed there.

Sometimes a place reveals a truth — about a relationship, about yourself.

In the end, it’s never about the destination.
It’s about the emotions, the memories, and the people you were there with.

IMCAS Day 0 | Ultrasound International Summit

Grateful to be part of the first international ultrasound pre-course and to witness how this field continues to evolve.
A big thank you to Cutaneus and Medical Contour for their commitment and effort in organizing this important summit.

At a congress with around 20,000 attendees and an enormous venue, ultrasound in aesthetic medicine was represented in just two dedicated rooms , one basic, one advanced.
Small in numbers, but rich in depth.

Here, the focus goes far beyond complication management.
Ultrasound allows us to better understand anatomy, materials and tissue layers, helping to improve predictability, safety and the longevity of results.
I’m grateful to be part of this growing international community, sharing knowledge, experience and responsibility.
The future of aesthetic medicine is not just about results — it’s about seeing, understanding and treating responsibly.

Last monday I attended the annual laser congress of the SGML 🇨🇭

Not for trends.
Not for the newest device.

But because people trust me with their skin and their confidence — and that responsibility truly matters to me.

In aesthetic medicine, it’s not only about injectables. Energy-based devices help us stimulate collagen, improve skin quality, and treat scars and medical skin conditions. But a device alone never creates results — how you use it does.

That’s why I keep learning, questioning, and staying science-based.
Because trust is earned through results, and results come from care.

✨ Science. Results. Trust.

Merry Christmas ✨

At this time of the year, I want to pause and express my deepest gratitude, to the people who believe in me, support me, and walk this path with me.
To my patients, who honor me with their trust.
To my family and friends, who give me strength, grounding, and love.

And also to myself, for the courage, resilience, and dedication I carried through this year.
This year held a lot. It challenged me, shaped me, and allowed me to build — and rebuild — something truly beautiful. I continue to work with heart and purpose on my vision, step by step.

I wish all of us more health, more peace, more free time, and many moments that truly matter.
Life is short let’s live it consciously, fully, and with gratitude, and create something meaningful along the way.

Wishing you a warm, peaceful, and blessed Christmas 🎄✨

Just for fun😁
Work is serious, but a little fun in between matters too.

Why I never dissolve filler blindly.

Hyaluronidase is a powerful enzyme — and when we dissolve filler, precision matters more than speed. With ultrasound, I can see exactly:

• where the filler is sitting
• whether it’s superficial or deep
• if it’s close to vessels or lymphatics
• if there is inflammation or granuloma
• how much product is actually there

Most complications happen when filler is injected (or dissolved) in the wrong layer — or when we guess instead of seeing.

Ultrasound-guided dissolving means:
✔ safer
✔ more effective
✔ targeted
✔ less swelling
✔ fewer sessions
✔ no blind injections

This is why ultrasound is the gold standard for both correction and complication management in aesthetic medicine.

Safety first. Precision always.

Live and look your best, longer.

Many doctors still overlook Lipoprotein(a) even though it can be one of the most important markers for your long-term cardiovascular risk.
Cardiovascular disease remains the number one cause of death worldwide, and high cholesterol levels are often silent.
You don’t feel anything… until one day you suddenly experience a cardiovascular event.

And here is the problem:
Even when your LDL looks normal, your Lp(a) can still be elevated.

Lipoprotein(a) is genetically determined. A simple blood test shows how prone you are to developing atherosclerosis, plaque formation, and early cardiovascular disease and whether you need to tighten your risk profile and start preventive strategies.

At your next check-up, make sure to test:
Lipoprotein(a) → and find out if you are in a higher-risk group and what you can do to reduce that risk.

Malar edema, the swelling on the upper cheek, just under the eye.

It’s important to understand:
✔️ It can be genetic, when the lymphatic drainage system is naturally weaker.
✔️ It can be health-related — kidney/liver dysfunction, allergies, chronic rhinosinusitis.
✔️ It can be lifestyle-related — salt, alcohol, inflammation, poor sleep.
✔️ And it can be iatrogenic — not only from filler blocking the lymphatics, but also from too much Botox in the lower eyelid area, which can weaken the muscle pump that normally supports lymphatic flow.

So the first step is always correct diagnosis.
If filler is the problem, I dissolve it under ultrasound guidance to clear the drainage pathway.
If muscle function was reduced by Botox, we allow the muscle to recover so it can support lymphatics again.

Afterwards, we focus on
• improving lymphatic flow
• gentle tissue tightening
• deeper structural and systemic evaluation

Malar edema is rarely “just filler.”
It’s lymphatics, anatomy, muscle function, and health and this is why precision matters.

Live and look your best, longer.
