IGNORANCE
Ibn Mandhour, ignorance is the antonym of knowledge and experience.
In fact, ignorance is one of the most reprehensible vices and ignorance towards Allah, exalted be He, and obedience to Him is one of the most important factors precipitating the servant of Allah in the commission of sins, because whoever disobeys Allah, exalted be He, is ignorant as Allah, the Exalted, says (what means): "Allah accepts only the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards "(Quran 4/17).
In his book al-Qur'an Ma'ani, al-Zajjâj, explained that "ignorance" means they preferred the delights ephemeral pleasures forever.
According to Ibn Jareer, Mujahid said: "Whoever disobeys his Lord, the Exalted, is a fool and he remains ignorant until he ceases to disobey his Lord."
In his book Taysir al-Karim al-Rahman Ibn Djawzy said: "'By ignorance, by means folly, since the lack of knowledge leads to disobedience. Shaykh 'Abd al-Rahman al-Sa'di, may Allah have mercy on him,' ignorance 'means knowing that the commission of evil will be serious consequences and will incur the wrath and punishment of Allah, the Exalted he, also ignoring Allah, exalted be He observes, finally knowing that disobedience leads to the suppression of the faith or to be reduced. "
Indeed, ignorance ignorant precipitates in many disasters here and in the hereafter. In his book Al-akhlaq wa-l-siyar, Ibn Hazm, may Allah have mercy on him, said that if ignorance was not the fault of the author that it leads to envy and scholars to rejoice acts committed by his fellows (the ignorant), it would be reason enough to move away. So what about his other vices in the world and in the Hereafter? ". He added: "On the basis of this introduction we can say that knowledge plays an important role in every important issue and that ignorance plays an important role in every vice."
Al-Mawardi has mentioned in his book al-dunya Adabu wa-l-din that Buzurgemhar said: "The ignorance in the heart is like a water seepage into the ground that destroys everything that surrounds it."
Explaining the verse "Allah accepts only the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards" (Quran 4/17), Ibn Al-Qayyim said: "The sin committed by the servant of Allah is surrounded two kinds of ignorance: ignorance on causes that matter away from sin and ignorance on corruption resulting from its commission. "
May Allah, the Exalted, keep us from ignorance and all the dangers it entails.
Amine!
