The Director of the Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) Health Services wishes to inform the general public that contrary to rumour, the Mbingo Baptist Hospital has NOT been transferred to Bamenda.

Mbingo Baptist Hospital remains a Referral Hospital in Cameroon and the West African Sub Region and continues to provide comprehensive health care services such as General Consultation, Eye, Orthopaedic, Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT), General Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.

The Nkwen Baptist Health Centre in Bamenda city and other facilities of the CBC Health Services have witnessed recent infrastructural improvement, in line with the Mission of the
Organization to reach out with quality healthcare to all. While we continue to improve on our Facilities, there are no plans to transfer our mother Hospitals which remain well
equipped and continue to render services as ever before.

PAACS is happy to announce the reopening of the PAACS surgical training programs at Mbingo Baptist Hospital in Cameroon that had been previously suspended. The PAACS Commission met November 16th and reviewed the status of the Mbingo Baptist Hospital (MBH) PAACS Residency in General Surgery and Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery. They concluded that these training programs could resume under PAACS oversight as of January 1, 2020. We are joining with the people of Cameroon in prayer for the peace of their country and rejoicing in this news about the reopening of these programs at MBH.

Today, 8th August 2018, Mbingo Baptist Hospital receives Dr. Randall Owen. He is an Associate Professor with specialty on Head & Neck and Endocrine Surgery.
Dr. Owen has a strong interest in medical and other missions.
He joins the team of surgeons here at Mbingo Baptist to serve the people of Cameroon and train other Christian Surgeons in African through the Pan African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS) program hosted in Cameroon by Mbingo.
