I really don't get it ! 😒

You are sick, then you decide to go to the hospital.

Did the lab tests and the diagnosis is confirmed.

The Doctor prescribed medications to be taken at home.

You went to the pharmacy and bought all the medications and return home.

Take the medications nah ..Nooo, you are not taking them.

5 days later,

you come back to the Doctor to complain the SAME SYMPTOMS you had consulted before.

I don't get it 😮

Excuse me, this is an adult !

What does it take for you to take your medications back home??

WORLD AIDS DAY

Today December 1st, is dedicated for raising awareness of the pandemic.

HIV is real.

The statistics are quite alarming: presently about 40 million people are living with the disease in the world.

This includes men, women and children.

HOW IS HIV TRANSMITTED?

HIV can be transmitted through the following ways:

+ through blood
+ Unprotected s*xual in*******se
+ Breastfeeding
+ By sharing syringes, needles, shaving tools, Tattoo equipments etc

HOW IS HIV PREVENTED ?

If you are HIV negative, play safe:
+ Abstinence from s*x
+ If not, use CONDOMS
+ Avoid sharing needles, razor blades, shaving
+ Avoid multiple s*xual partners
+ Make sure all tools used for piercing or tattoos are sterilised.
+ Having one s*xual partner

If you are HIV positive,
Take your Antirétroviral drugs daily as prescribed!

Patient -Doctor interaction

Some problems can be difficult to understand at times!

Dr: Good morning Mami, weti bring for hospital.
Patient: Nah my foot Doctor !

Dr: Weti di Happen for ur foot?
Patient: The foot di make like say ei want scratch for inside... I di hear how way some ti di Waka inside the foot di climb come for my waist then cross enter the other foot go down. But I di Waka me ooh without pain but when ei mean for hot for here haahhh.

Dr: So the foot di hot?
Patient : The foot nodi hot, e dey fine now so.

Dr: (At this point, the Dr breath-in, leans back then tries to ask open-ended Qs) mami u di get cramps?
Patient: Yessss doctor, nah yi that !

Some problems may not be easy to describe at times !

When the consultation takes too long, just understand the Dr is trying to DECODE some complex explanations !🙌🏽🥳
