In the last 2 years, I’ve communicated with thousands of African youths, from across the African continent.
My interactions give me a lot of hope that we can achieve our African development dreams.
And also, my interactions opened my eyes to a lot of issues that we need to address asap if we are going to achieve our goals.
It’s all about ignorance, fear, victimhood and the unbelief in possibilities that Africa is a few decades away to be a first world continent.
I’m here to tell you that:
AFRICA NEEDS YOU TO STEP UP!
Yes, you!
There is no running away from this, we need to address these issues together.
I truly believe that Africa will be the envy of the world within 30 years and we all are going to make that happen.
For this to happen, you and I need to step up!
The time is NOW.
You need to believe in yourself; that you are the key to Africa’s future!
Africa and Africans have many more opportunities than the rest of the world do not have in the 21st century.
You may not know this right now, but in a few decades, Africa and African can achieve what it took the West hundreds of years to achieve.
Yes, the process is all laid out, and Africa does not need to re-invent the wheel.
It’s copy and paste, with a few original African tweaks.
Let’s stop wasting time; arguing, blaming and complaining about the past.
The past is the past, we cannot change anything!
We can only learn the lessons and use them to create a brighter future.
We as Africans are the only ones who have the RESPONSIBILITIES to develop Africa.
Any other countries or regions that come to help us, are doing that to their benefits.
We MUST start thinking BIG for Africa.
We must stop waiting for other people to do the work necessary to develop our homeland for us.
China or the West are only in Africa for their own benefits!
Africans MUST do the work to develop Africa and reap the REWARDS of Africa’s development.
YES, THERE ARE MASSIVE REWARDS!
That’s the reason for China and West are all coming to Africa.
To reap the REWARDS!
I actually believe that the solutions to Africa’s problems will be solved by everyday people like you.
By hard working people, Entrepreneurs and businesspeople!
Africa’s global icon Akon said;
“Africa is the only place in the world where black people can go and build fortune 500 companies from scratch within five years”
I totally agree with his assessment.
You can build a fortune 500 companies in almost any industry from scratch within five-ten years if you start today.
Three decades ago, China, India Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea were 3rd world countries together with the counties in Africa.
Today, almost a billion people of over 2.5 billion population in those countries are in the middle class.
The infrastructure development and the economies of these Asian countries are world class. And the nations are all 1st world countries.
The next economic revolution is going to the in Africa, and you need to be ready to make it happen.
Africa with a population of 1.2 billion people, we need to raise the number of middle people to up to 600 million in the next decade.
Africa needs your help to do that. Your big dreams, talents, and ingenuity are needed.
What contribution are you going to make?
You need to act, to help yourself, your community and Africa.
Our governments are beginning to take the right steps.
The recent ratification of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement is a great start.
I look forward to the full implementation.
I want to know if you can see the OPPORTUNITIES in Africa as I can see.
It’s huge!
Every single problem that you can see in Africa, comes with two or more opportunities attached.
With about 70% of the African population below the age of 35 years old, we must develop these opportunities to create jobs.
Not in the future, we need to create these jobs now!
We have not taken control of our destinies.
So, stop complaining, our future is right in front of us.
The miracles that many of us are here. They are already here in your dreams.
Make them into REALITY!
Look around the rest of the world, your generation is running things;
Multibillion-dollar businesses and the most powerful countries are run by young and dynamic leaders.
We can also do the same or even better in Africa…
The opportunities abound in Africa. So, stop holding yourself down.
Breakout and fulfill your life’s purpose.
You have the gift inside of you.
Africa is waiting for you to unleash your God-given talents.
IMAGINE where you could be in ten years time if you take up the challenge!
Don’t let fear and doubt steal your God-given talents. And rob Africa of the BIG things that you can bring to all humanity.
We have everything it takes to make Africa a developed continent in a few decades.
Rwanda is showing the way, and all of us can follow.
Let’s just do it.
