From 8 to 10 April 2026 in Yaoundé, government institutions, civil society organizations, technical partners and community actors participated in a national training organized by OIM Cameroun, in collaboration with the National Disarmament Demobilization and Reintegration Committee NCDDR, and with the support of EU International Partnerships.
The training aims to strengthen protection‑sensitive reintegration approaches for people on the move, including migrants, internally displaced persons and formerly associated persons, through harmonized national frameworks and improved coordination.
Discussions focus on aligning national practices, strengthening data systems and indicators, and operationalizing digital tools to improve follow‑up, planning and evidence‑based decision‑making.
This initiative contributes to government leadership in advancing a coherent, nationally owned and sustainable reintegration system, supporting broader efforts in peacebuilding, social cohesion and long‑term development.
