🩺20cm "Branch-Like" Tumor Removed from Heart?🫀A woman with chest discomfort for half a month sought treatment at the . She was diagnosed —a rare benign that had spread from her uterus to her heart along veins, measuring over 30cm in total and might have death risk. Due to this special case, SAHZU organized a multidisciplinary consultation ( ) and decided on a two-stage surgical plan: the first stage, led by Associate Prof Wei-jiang Zhang, SAHZU , to remove the uterus and pelvic tumor segments; the second stage, team from Dr. Min-jian Kong of Surgery to remove the rest tumor from her heart and inferior vena cava. After the team's efforts, the patient's tumor was completely removed and the patient was discharged smoothly 9 days after the operation.
