When you think of weight loss and fitness typically you think of the Big 4:⁣

So you procrastinate until you hit rock bottom. ⁣⁣

It doesn't matter how hard it may seem to start making healthier choices now - the fact is that every day brings new challenges and potentially longer periods of discomfort as your health declines even more if action isn't taken at an earlier stage.⁣⁣

It can be easy to tell yourself rationalizations like "I'll worry about it later" or "This issue will go away on its own". ⁣⁣

The truth is anything great requires work. ⁣⁣

Close to the end of our trip back to the US and couldn’t have asked for a better 7 weeks before going back to Shanghai. ⁣

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝗪𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐨 𝐁𝐞 𝐎𝐧...⁣

Have you ever been here before?⁣

Something sparked you to set a new fitness or weight loss goal and you are REALLY motivated about it. ⁣

Maybe you stepped on the scale after the holidays, had a big event coming up like summer vacation, or were unhappy with the results from your latest doctor’s visit⁣
and had some kind of wake-up call⁣

So you committed to clean up your eating, start exercising, or make some BIG CHANGES when it comes to your self-care.⁣

And then you go at it… HARD! ⁣

And things are going great. ⁣

But then something unexpected pops on your schedule… or you eat a little “off your plan”… or you skip a workout.⁣

And that one miss turns into another, and another, and another. ⁣

And before you know it, you’re completely off track and upset at yourself.⁣

A few weeks or months (or even years) go by, until the next time you find yourself back on that very same rollercoaster ride.⁣

It can be a really painful and frustrating cycle to get stuck in. ⁣

But, I do have some really good news. ⁣

It makes perfect sense that you kept falling off track... because it’s almost impossible for ANYONE to keep up that level of intensity and still live a normal life!⁣

Don’t get me wrong: Having a new fitness or weight loss goal is FANTASTIC.⁣

BUT it’s even BETTER to find a way to work on your goals that won’t drain as much time and energy from your everyday life.⁣

In a way that sets you up for success, rather than sure failure.⁣

PLUS, there’s a bonus: when you find a happy middle ground, you won’t find yourself on that confidence-sucking rollercoaster ride anymore.⁣

That’s because you’ll actually be able to maintain all the results you’ve earned.⁣

Finding this sustainable middle ground is key to your success.⁣

So, don't chase intensity when it comes to venturing on your fitness or weight loss goals.⁣

Instead strive to do the things you can consistently and sustainably creating daily small wins along the way.⁣

Want to know why most people fail when it comes to their fitness goals? ⁣

Goals can be overrated... because a majority of the time you tend to focus on outcomes goals like, "Losing 20lb"⁣

You have to understand that goals are just an end product. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It’s the process and the systems you have set in place that will lead you to reach the goals you want.⁣

Leading process oriented goals that get you to lose 20lb:⁣

1. Getting enough sleep⁣
2. Eating more protein and vegetables⁣
3. Exercising regularly⁣
4. Drinking plenty of water⁣
5. Managing stress ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The truth is you probably didn’t get the success you have now in work and business without the systems in place to get you there. You may not even know it. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
You just need to apply the system that works for your current lifestyle to fitness, nutrition, and your personal health and well-being. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Maybe for you, that system is waking up 15 minutes earlier to take an early morning walk or to prepare a protein-packed breakfast. ⁣⁣
