Dr. Ponce administers a PRP injection to treat a patient with knee arthritis. With uses from soft tissue to hair loss, PRP therapy requires taking the patient’s own blood plasma and enriching it with platelets. This platelet rich blood contains growth supporting qualities and can stimulate the healing of soft tissue, like a kick start to something your body has the ability to do naturally. This tissue repairing process can be used to treat chronic pain and soft tissue that has lost its ability to regenerate on its own, making it easily adaptable and complimentary to a number of orthopedic and sports medicine cases.

If we talk about “walking” it can seem boring to most of the readers. This happens because it’s something we already mastered, and we give it for granted. But when an injury comes on our path such an innate and basic activity becomes very complex and alien to us. We come to realise that we call walk is much more complicated then we can normally think of. An injury in the lower legs often means the need to re-create and re-learn that innate pattern. Here we are working with Perpetua, we are slowly recreating her walking pattern by using an obstacle trail. In this exercise is important to engage the core through the breath and understand deeply all the distinct aspects that form our complex gait. She has the right motivation and energy to regain what lost. Now only through guidance and training she will be able to reach her goals! @ AMC Sports Medicine Institute - Shanghai Matteo Dotta

Part 3: Strengthen your wrists: No more limp wrist•False grip rolls• Start a plank position on your fists. Then, shift your weight forward and roll your fist towards your index finger and thumb. After your thumb makes contact with the floor, reverse directions, rolling your fists back towards your pinky and the outside of your wrists, until they make contact with the floor. •Progress•It is a clean sweep-start on your knees and load more weight into the hands just as with the previous exercises.•The routine should only take 1-2 minutes a day but will help provide the mobility and strength through your wrists’ natural range of motion. No more weak joints!

Wrist: The Forgotten Joint Part 2
Wrist Circles ( )
Begin with your palms facing down, with your fingers pointing out and away from each other. Keep your arms straight throughout. From here, shift your bodyweight around your wrists in circles. Keep it slow and deliberate with a focus on really pushing your wrist mobility. Lean over them as much as is comfortable at each angle. Complete five large, controlled circles, both clockwise and counterclockwise.

Wrist: The forgotten
The wrist requires motion in order to function. Here’s how to add another layer of protection to these otherwise fragile joints.
Mobility is not glamorous. If you don’t have time to be generous to your wrists, then make time for injury and pain. Dedicating a few minutes on them daily will keep them much happier. Here ia movement for your wrists to amplify mobility.

Palm-down wrist stretch:

Rotate your hands out, palms facing down until your fingers are pointing back towards your body. Keep your arms straight and drive the heel of your hand into the floor. Lean back to get your shoulders as far behind your hands as possible. Repeat 10 times, attempting to increase your range of motion with each repetition.
