Check to see if the in your hand are deceiving you.
I recently met with a UK client who wanted to make creatine gummies. We had a pleasant conversation. He presented his concept to me and even filmed a video of the product he wanted to replicate.
This is usually rare in our work, and fortunately, because we often encounter clients with only vague ideas. This client had a clear idea and a product he wanted to replicate, which meant our project progressed very quickly.
However, unfortunately, we were ultimately unable to proceed with this project. The client's needs, or perhaps their understanding of creatine gummies themselves, were insufficient. The product they wanted to replicate was merely a concept, and the label misled them.
Here is the product information:
Creatine gummies, 60 capsules per bottle, 3g each. The label states that each 2 capsules contain 5000mg = 5g of creatine, and they should have a sweet watermelon flavor.
According to the product information, the creatine content in the gummies is an impossible 5g Ć· 6g = 83%. In actual creatine gummy production, the creatine content is typically capped at around 30%, otherwise the gummies won't form. However, a 30% creatine content in gummies can have a very bitter taste and be difficult to mask. Therefore, if you want to achieve a variety of fruity flavors, usually my suggestion is to reduce the content to 5%-10%. Only then can the creatine gummies achieve a variety of delicious fruity flavors.
