What if the real practice is not only in the movement, but in what the movement begins to awaken?

In a training like this, practice is not only about learning shapes or refining technique.
It is also about what begins to shift underneath form.

The breath.
The attention.
The inner listening.
The deeper intelligence of the body.
The parts of us that begin to remember something more essential when movement is no longer just performance, but presence.

This is part of what we explore inside our training journeys in Colombia through breath, Himalayan Kriya, ritual, devotion, philosophy, and embodied practice.

Not only how to move.
But how to listen.
How to stay.
How to let the path work on you from within.

Our next training begins August 23 in Colombia.
If this path speaks to you, details are waiting through the link in bio.

What do you feel movement reveals when you stay with it long enough?

How do we know if we are ready for a YTT?

For many people, the question is not only about practice.
It is also about worthiness.

Am I flexible enough?
Experienced enough?
Young enough?
Clear enough?
Certain enough?

So many people wait until they feel more formed, more confident, more prepared.
But the path rarely begins from perfection.

Sometimes what brings someone to a training is not certainty, but the need to return to themselves.
To step out of the noise.
To listen more honestly.
To make space for what matters.
To enter a deeper relationship with practice, breath, ritual, and life itself.

Not everyone comes to a YTT because they already know exactly where it will lead.
Sometimes they come because something inside can no longer ignore the call.

If you have been sitting with this question, you are not alone.

Save this for later, or send it to someone standing at this threshold.

What has made you question whether you are ready?

One of the least spoken about parts of a yoga teacher training begins after it ends.

Not because the YTT was not enough.
But because what it opened in you asks to be lived, not only remembered.

This is the part many people are left alone with.
The space after the structure.
After the schedule.
After the intensity.
The moment when your practice becomes quieter, more honest, and more revealing.

For some, this is where doubt begins.
Am I ready to teach?
Should I already feel clearer?
Do I need another yoga teacher training before I can really begin?

But often, what is needed is not more information.
It is more integration.
More embodiment.
More patience with the part of the path that cannot be rushed.

Because teaching does not only happen on the mat.
It also happens through the way you live, the way you choose, the way you return to your practice, and the way your life begins to carry what you have learned.

If you are in that space after a YTT, you are not behind.
You are in the part where the teachings start becoming real.

What was the hardest part for you after your YTT?

A few moments from our last training journey in Colombia.

So much of what happens inside these spaces cannot be fully captured in pictures.
The breath, the rhythm of practice, the beauty of community, the vulnerability, the devotion, the rituals, the laughter, the transformation that happens quietly and deeply.

This is not only about learning to teach.
It is about learning to listen more honestly, live more consciously, and walk the path with greater presence.

We are deeply grateful for everyone who shared this journey with us.

The serpent sleeps at the root, ancient and waiting. Not awakened through force, but through breath and patience.

In yogic tradition, this dormant energy is known as kundalini.

Within our September training journey in Colombia, we explore yoga as a living path through breath, Himalayan Kriya, ritual, devotion, and embodied practice. A path that asks for presence, patience, and the willingness to meet what already lives within.

If this path speaks to you, applications for September are now open through the link in bio.

We all have rituals in our daily lives.

For some, it is tea in the morning.
For others, it is prayer, silence, breath, movement, or the way they prepare a space.

What changes a simple habit into a ritual is not complexity, but presence.
The way we enter the moment.
The attention we bring to it.
The intention behind even the smallest act.

At Ancestral, ritual is not something separate from life.
It is one of the ways we learn to arrive more fully.

What everyday act becomes ritual for you when entered with more awareness?

Today, and every day, we honor the powerful creative force of Shakti the living energy that moves through all creation.

We honor the courage of women, their vulnerability, their strength, their ability to hold life, to nurture, to create, and to transform.

But the feminine is not only something that lives in women. It is a sacred energy that lives in all of us in our capacity to feel, to listen, to care, to create beauty and life.

May we continue moving toward a world where the divisions we have created between genders slowly dissolve. Where the feminine and the masculine are not in opposition, but in balance.

And where every human being remembers the divine creative force they carry within.

Today we celebrate women.
And we celebrate the Shakti that lives in us all.

When Annie arrived, she thought she was coming for a yoga training. What she discovered was something much deeper.

Thank you Annie for trusting the process and sharing your heart with this community.

We can’t wait to welcome you back 🤍

Life is asking us to slow down.

Over the next months, we’ll be stepping into a quieter rhythm.
Less outward creation, more inward presence.

We are entering a deeply personal chapter, dedicating this time to ourselves, our family, and what is being born through us.

Ancestral isn’t ending.
It’s resting, integrating, and preparing for the next season.

We look forward to gathering again later this year.

Thank you for walking with us.

With all the love
Caro & Marco 🤍

There’s something about standing in a circle, holding hands, and feeling everyone’s presence.

We all come here as individuals. Different countries. Different stories. Different wounds. Different strengths.

And yet… in moments like this, something softens.

You remember that yoga is not something you perform. It’s something you share. It’s the space between us. The support when someone feels unsure. The laughter when things feel intense. The quiet understanding that we’re all learning.

These days were not perfect. They were real. And that’s what made them beautiful.
