Led by Dr Patricia Turner, past President of the World Veterinary Association (WVA), this global study looks at how veterinary colleges are aligning their programmes with real-world workforce needs. It explores how universities prepare graduates for diverse roles in animal health, public health, and food safety — all within the One Health framework.
The study also highlights the importance of developing self-assessment tools for schools in regions without formal accreditation systems, helping them strengthen the quality of their education independently.
The WVA remains committed to supporting high-quality veterinary education worldwide and to developing tools and partnerships that help shape a stronger, more resilient global veterinary workforce. 💪🐾
