The Alegria Soap Shop & Factory is a gift shop filled with handmade products. We make all of the skin care products right on site!

We make soaps, lotions, salves, natural insect repellant, after sun care, candles and much more! Alegria, (pronounced `ah l ai G R EE ah’), means happiness in Spanish, and that is exactly how our products make us feel and our customers too! Our products are made by hand in small batches with pure, raw and natural materials. When possible, we purchase our ingredients from farmer’s here in Costa Rica; such as our goat’s milk, honey, beeswax, cocoa butter and coffee. Handmade, hand-cut, hand-packaged, and all made with lots of love! Alegria products offer a healthy, effective and luxurious skin care experience we like to call… “A Gift from Nature”. Enjoy the rich lather and silky feeling of our handmade soaps. Choose from 16 different kinds of soaps for all skin types. Treat yourself with our handcrafted lotions, after sun gel, massage oils, body scrubs, lip butters, natural insect repellent, candles, incense and so much more!
