Most gut health advice online is surface level.

Here are 5 things that actually move the needle and most people have never been told any of them.

1️⃣ You cannot heal your gut in a stressed state.

When you’re in fight-or-flight, digestion is not a priority. Stomach acid drops, motility slows, the gut lining becomes vulnerable.

2️⃣ Your gut runs on a circadian rhythm.

Stomach acid, enzymes, bile, motility etc.. all follow a daily biological clock. Irregular sleep, random meal times, and artificial light at night disrupt that clock.

This is why some people eat well and still feel terrible.

3️⃣ Low stomach acid is far more common than high.

Most people with chronic gut issues have too little stomach acid not too much. But they’ve been put on antacids that suppress it further.

The result: undigested food, pathogens surviving, nutrients not absorbing.

4️⃣ Diversity matters more than any single probiotic.

A single-strain probiotic won’t fix a damaged microbiome. Gut health is about ecosystem diversity.

And if you have SIBO, some probiotics actively make things worse. Supplements without diagnosis is just expensive guesswork.
