Ο Οργανισμός Ασφάλισης Υγείας ενημερώνει το κοινό για τα στοιχεία επικοινωνίας των υπηρεσιών εφημερίας Προσωπικού Ιατρού (ΠΙ) για το Σάββατο, 7 και την Κυριακή, 8 Μαρτίου 2026, ανά επαρχία. Οι εφημερίες λειτουργούν τα Σαββατοκύριακα και στις Δημόσιες Αργίες, μεταξύ των ωρών 10:00–18:00.

Health Insurance Organization informs the public about the contact details of Personal Doctor (PD) on-call services on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8, 2026, by province. On-call Services operate on Weekends and Public Holidays between 10:00–18:00.

We would like to inform our patients that Dr. Asprou will conclude his collaboration with Veramedica on 28th February. We thank him for his contribution to the clinic and wish him every success in his future professional endeavors.

At the same time, Veramedica continues to evolve and strengthen its medical team.

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Nikos Panagidis as our new General Practitioner. Many of you may already know him from his work at the General Hospital. Dr. Panagidis studied Medicine in Rome and completed his General Practice training at the Royal College in the United Kingdom. He has also served within GESY and the Ministry of Health, bringing extensive experience and dedication to patient-centered care.

In addition, Veramedica will soon introduce a Specialist in Internal Medicine, further expanding the services available to our community.

Θα θέλαμε να ενημερώσουμε τους ασθενείς μας ότι ο Δρ. Ασπρού θα ολοκληρώσει τη συνεργασία του με τη Veramedica στις 28 Φεβρουαρίου. Τον ευχαριστούμε θερμά για τη συμβολή του στην κλινική και του ευχόμαστε κάθε επιτυχία στα μελλοντικά επαγγελματικά του βήματα.

Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά καλωσορίζουμε τον Δρ. Νίκο Παναγίδη ως τον νέο μας Γενικό Ιατρό. Πολλοί από εσάς ενδέχεται να τον γνωρίζετε ήδη από τη θητεία του στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο. Ο Δρ. Παναγίδης σπούδασε Ιατρική στη Ρώμη και ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητα της Γενικής Ιατρικής στο Royal College στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο. Έχει επίσης υπηρετήσει στο ΓεΣΥ και στο Υπουργείο Υγείας, διαθέτοντας εκτενή εμπειρία και αφοσίωση στη φροντίδα με επίκεντρο τον ασθενή.

Επιπρόσθετα, η Veramedica πρόκειται σύντομα να εντάξει στην ομάδα της Ειδικό Παθολόγο, διευρύνοντας περαιτέρω τις υπηρεσίες που προσφέρονται στην κοινότητά μας.

Today, on the Day of Love, we celebrate 32 years of Veramedica. This date was chosen as an expression of love for the medical profession and, above all, for the people who trust us with their care.

The name Veramedica means “true medicine,” a principle that has guided our work for over three decades.

For 32 years, our commitment has remained steady: to provide high-quality, ethical, and compassionate care, always placing our patients at the center of everything we do.

This coming month marks an exciting new chapter. We will be welcoming a new colleague to our team, someone that many of you may already know and trust. With this addition, Veramedica will expand the services we provide, allowing us to better meet the evolving needs of our community.

More information about these developments will be shared in the coming days.

Σήμερα, ανήμερα της Ημέρας της Αγάπης, γιορτάζουμε τα 32 χρόνια του Veramedica.

We wish you and your loved ones a joyful and blessed Easter! 🕊️ Please note that Veramedica Medical Center will be closed from Friday, April 18th, to Monday, April 21st, 2025, in observance of the Easter holidays.

For any urgent medical needs during this period, Gesy patients can access emergency GP services at the Evangelismos Hospital on 26848113, from 11am to 5pm. We’ll be back to serve you with care on Tuesday, April 22nd.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Dear Patients,

We would like to inform you that the Electricity Authority of Cyprus has scheduled a power outage in our area on Tuesday, February 25th. As a result, our health centre will be without electricity for the duration of the outage. This means we will not have access to electronic medical records or heating on that day. Our services will be significantly limited.

We kindly ask for your understanding and patience during this time. If you have routine queries, such as requests for referrals or prescriptions, we encourage you to contact the health centre by Monday, February 24th, so we can try and address them in advance to the outage.

We are happy to announce new services that will be available at our medical centre.

Dionysios Drapela will be providing clinical psychology services. He is registered with GESY and also will provide services privately. To access his services under GESY, patients will need to have a referral to clinical psychology from their personal doctor. Appointments are booked directly with Dionysios by telephoning 97457759.

Dr Cornelia Dunckel is a medically trained doctor providing traditional Chinese medicine. Her services are private only and appointments can be booked by calling the medical centre on 26271700. Further information about the services that Dr Cornelia Dunckel offers can be found on her website:

Micheal sadly lost his battle to pancreatic cancer last year.
