My passion for yoga—its core principles, philosophical foundations, and way of life—is profound and heartfelt. Lawyer by day, yogi for life - Yoga serves as a a sanctuary of peace and connection, guiding me on a journey of personal growth and enhancement, not only physically but also mentally and spiritually. Yogini, wife, mother, traveller and lifelong lover of books...My dream is to teach yoga to all. The word Nectar has a double meaning for me as it perfectly encapsulates the studio's essence, as Yoga undeniably enriches LIFE with its sweetness and karmically forms part of my name, Nectaria. I look forward to welcoming all to our studio - from novices to seasoned yoga practitioners. Yoga's beauty lies in its inclusivity, catering to everyone regardless of age, gender, health, or fitness levels. Whether your goal is to achieve a fulfilling stretch or to delve deeper into your yoga journey, there is something to offer everyone. The logo of the modest humming bee, symbolises vitality and life whilst serving as a gentle nod to the Humming Bee pranayama (a soothing and powerful yogic breathing technique).

Today’s tip

Your breath is your anchor.

You can’t breathe yesterday or tomorrow — only this moment.

Seems basic and easy but how many of us actually just breathe and focus on our breath!

SPELL IT OUT
Put your thoughts down on paper, start a journal
- what do you want to leave behind this year?
- what did 2025 teach you?
- how do you feel?

SIT. PAUSE. BREATHE
You are meditating!
Try to be still without distractions, focusing on your breath - it really doesn’t have to be a whole performance of trying to meditate.
It’s hard for all of us but keep doing it and you will see the difference it makes.
