Kiropraktik, kas-iskelet sisteminde oluşabilecek mekanik problemlerin, sinir sitemi fonksiyonları ve genel sağlık üzerindeki etkilerinin; teşhisi, tedavisi ve önlenmesi ile ilgili bir sağlık hizmeti dalıdır. Kullanılan tedavi yöntemleri arasında en sık kullanılanlar; spinal manipulasyon (düzeltme tekniği), eklem manipülasyonu (düzeltme tekniği) ve yumuşak doku terapilerini içeren manüel (el ile yapılan) terapilerdir.
