👁️ Clear Vision. Gentle Technology.
As our doctors begin another week of surgeries, we understand that patients may naturally have questions or feel anxious about upcoming procedures. If you’ve been told you need cataract surgery, it’s normal to feel nervous or have questions. Many patients worry about pain, safety, or how quickly they’ll recover.
At our clinic, we understand these concerns and providing clear information and maintaining open communication are always priorities for our team, as we believe this helps patients feel comfortable, informed, and reassured.
✨ LenSx Laser Cataract Surgery
At Pantheo Eye Center, we use LenSx laser-assisted cataract surgery. LenSx uses advanced laser technology to assist your surgeon in key steps of cataract surgery with exceptional accuracy.
✨ How it Helps During Cataract Surgery
During cataract surgery, the natural cloudy lens is removed and replaced with a clear artificial lens.
The LenSx system can assist with several parts of the preparation:
🔬 Detailed imaging of the eye
Before the laser works, it scans the eye using advanced imaging. This allows the surgeon to plan the procedure based on the individual patient’s anatomy.
⚙️ Precise opening of the lens capsule
The cataract sits inside a very thin membrane called the capsule. The laser can create a perfectly circular opening in this membrane with extremely high precision.
💠 Softening the cataract lens
The laser can gently fragment or soften the cataract before removal. This often means the surgeon needs less ultrasound energy during the next step of the surgery.
👁️ Highly controlled micro-incisions
The laser can also create tiny corneal incisions that allow the surgeon to access the cataract.
💡 Benefits of LenSx Technology
• Greater surgical precision
• Reduced use of manual instruments
• Customised treatment for your eye
• Gentle, computer-guided laser technology
• Potential for faster visual recovery
Your vision matters, your comfort matters and we’re here to help every step of the way.
