She completed her residency in General Surgery in Greece and in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in Cyprus and Athens. Dr. Kakkoura pursued a Fellowship in Fetal Medicine at Kings College Hospital in London, followed by postdoctoral training in Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy in Belgium, and Robotic Surgery in Athens.
She is certified in Colposcopy, Medical Laser treatments, and IOTA Ultrasound for pelvic masses. Her expertise extends to managing high-risk pregnancies and VBAC deliveries and performing minimally invasive surgeries such as laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomies.
Dr Kakkoura is also skilled in advanced gynaecological ultrasound and Mona Liza Co2 Laser treatments and is dedicated to promoting natural childbirth and advancing womenโs health through modern surgical techniques.
