Οι ορμόνες μπορούν να επηρεάσουν το πως νιώθουμε, το πως αντιδρούμε, τη διάθεση μας και την ποιότητα ζωής μας.

Χαμηλότερα οιστρογόνα ή διακυμάνσεις αυτών μπορούν να επηρεάσουν τη σεροτονίνη και την ντοπαμίνη = ορμόνες της χαράς!

Διακυμάνσεις προγεστερόνης ή μείωση αυτής μπορεί να επηρεάσει την εγκεφαλική λειτουργία αφού ρίχνει και τα επίπεδα του γ-αμινοβουτυρικού οξέος (= ένας νευροδιαβιβαστής με ηρεμιστική δράση προς τον εγκέφαλο).

Today I am drowning in grief..
It’s been 2 WHOLE years …
And like drowning in water, it is silent.
It doesn’t cause a scene. No noise either.
I look normal. I laugh. I feel joy. I engage in conversation. You might even make the mistake of thinking I am the same person I was before. But you can see in my eyes that I am not.

Nichola mou, there comes a time in the journey to the heart when it is time to let it heal.
I know now that the deeper we go into the healing, the freer we will be, the more we will know what we feel, and the more we will feel joy.
I hope you are free wherever you are.
