𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 | Dr Tatiana Michaelidou is a Cardiologist with an in-depth clinical focus
on cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment.

She graduated from the State Medical University in Russia and completed her internship and residency at the Institute of Cardiology. She further trained in Emergency Cardiac Care at the same institution. Dr Michaelidou obtained her PhD in Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology and holds a Certificate of Doctor Cardiologist in Russia. She has been licensed to practise as a Medical Doctor and Specialist Cardiologist in Cyprus. She also holds certification in Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography from the European Society of Echocardiography and participated in a clinical study at the Berlin Heart Institute in Germany.

Her academic interests include general medicine, clinical cardiology and cardiac ultrasound. She received the First Award for Best Research Work of Young Scientists–Internists in Siberia and the Far East. Dr Michaelidou has contributed to numerous international scientific conferences and publications, particularly in nuclear cardiology, myocardial infarction, heart failure and cardiovascular hemodynamics.

#𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 | Dr Savvas S. Constantinides is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist specialising in complex coronary and structural heart interventions.

He graduated from Leicester University Medical School and completed his internship at Leicester Royal Infirmary in the UK. He undertook residency training at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, UK, with additional fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. He continued with advanced training in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology through the West Midlands Specialist Registrar rotation.
Dr Constantinides holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Doctor of Medicine, Membership and Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of London, and a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training.

His clinical interests include acute coronary syndromes, interventional cardiology, primary percutaneous coronary intervention, interventional treatment of valvular heart disease, and cardiac pacing. He was awarded his Doctorate in Medicine from Leicester University, is a recipient of the Medical Futures Innovation Award, and has served as a Tutor for the Royal College of Physicians at Alexandra Hospital in the UK.

#𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 | Dr Pantelis Kourtellaris is a Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist with advanced expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex heart rhythm disorders.

He completed his medical degree at the University of Athens and pursued his residency in the UK at Russells Hall Hospital in the West Midlands. He continued with fellowship training in Electrophysiology at the University of Birmingham and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

With a strong academic and clinical focus, Dr Kourtellaris specialises in cardiac pacing and defibrillators, including subcutaneous defibrillator systems, as well as advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures such as heart catheterisation, transoesophageal echocardiography, direct current cardioversion, and stress testing.

He graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Patras and completed his internship at the Department of Internal Medicine in Western Attica General Hospital “Agia Barbara.” He subsequently completed his residency in Cardiology at the Department of Cardiology, “Red Cross” Athens General Hospital. Dr Marnelos further specialised through a fellowship in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging at the Cardiac MR Center at Hygeia Hospital in Athens.

His clinical and academic interests include Clinical Cardiology, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, novel echocardiographic techniques, nuclear cardiology and Cardiac MRI. He is a member of the European Association of Echocardiography, the Cyprus Society of Cardiology and the Hellenic Society of Cardiology.

Dr Marnelos has actively participated in numerous local and international scientific meetings, contributing with oral presentations.

He graduated from the Medical University of Lyons in France and completed postgraduate training in Cardiology at the Mayo Clinic in the USA.

He holds Diplomas in Internal Medicine and Aviation Medicine and is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and the American College of Cardiology, as well as a member of the European Association of Echocardiography. His clinical and academic interests focus on cardiology and internal medicine, with expertise in non-invasive diagnostics.

Dr Nicolaides has served as Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the University of Claude Bernard in France, Past President of the Cyprus Society of Cardiology, National Coordinator for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases in Cyprus, and President of the Prevention Committee of the Cyprus Heart Foundation. He also served as Medical Assessor at the Department of Civil Aviation and National Coordinator of the EUROASPIRE III study organised by the European Society of Cardiology.

He has participated in international scientific meetings, published in peer-reviewed journals, contributed a book chapter on cardiovascular prevention, and completed two theses on multiple valve replacements and cardiovascular deconditioning in astronauts.

He graduated from Athens University Medical School, Greece, and completed his internship at St. Anna Hospital Herne in Germany. He undertook his residency training at WAH Hospital and his fellowship at the Heart Center Duisburg, Germany. He also completed advanced postdoctoral specialisation in Interventional Cardiology.

Dr Neofytou is a member of the European Society of Cardiology, the German Cardiac Society, the Cyprus Medical Association, and the Cyprus Society of Cardiology. He also holds certification in Pre-hospital Emergency Medicine from the Medical Association of North Rhine in Germany.

His clinical and academic interests focus on Interventional Cardiology and Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, including the treatment of acute cardiac conditions, as well as advanced cardiac imaging techniques. He specialises in ultrasound-based cardiac examinations and imaging guidance during minimally invasive catheter-based procedures for structural heart disease.

#𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 | Dr Maria Vanezi is an Interventional Cardiologist with expertise in complex coronary interventions and adult intensive cardiovascular care.

She obtained her Degree in Human Medicine from the University of Bonn and completed her Practical Year at Kantonsspital Luzern in Switzerland. She later completed specialist training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the University Clinic of Cologne in Germany.

Dr Vanezi pursued fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology and Intensive Care at the Heart and Diabetes Center in Germany. She also completed her Doctoral Thesis at the University of Bonn, graduating with highest honours. She holds certification in Interventional Cardiology from the German Heart Society and has completed advanced training in Extracorporeal Life Support, Antibiotic Stewardship, and cardiac resynchronisation therapy devices and pacemakers. She also holds specialisations in Adult Intensive Care Therapy, Internal Medicine and Cardiology, and Emergency Care from the Medical Council Nordrhein.

She previously served as Senior Consultant and Head of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at the Heart and Diabetes Center in Germany, and as an Interventional Cardiologist at a hospital in Cyprus. She is an active member of the European Society of Cardiology and professional societies in cardiovascular interventions, imaging and intensive care medicine.
