The Process of Healing is a book about taking responsibility for your life. It explores how the victim in you can take over and destroy you leaving you in pieces. This book is a practical guide to picking up the pieces and dealing with relationships, work, health and family. Despina Nicola was born and raised in New Zealand from Greek Cypriot born parents. After doing a degree in teaching she left to work in Cyprus where she met her future husband. Followed by ten years of a rocky marriage she finally made the decision to divorce and over the next eleven years she struggled to bring up two young daughters and run her own business with success. She learnt to balance work, family, relationships and financial commitments. During this period Despina went back to university and made time in her busy schedule to do a degree in psychology. This book is a result of eighteen years of studying relationships and gaining insight into taking control of your life.
