Hi, I’m Isabel Mendoza — a Colombian Dance Movement Therapist, anthropologist, and artist based in Litoměřice, Czech Republic (working in-person and online).
I support migrant and local women who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in repeating patterns, or disconnected from themselves — and who want to build a life that feels calmer, more authentic, and more loving.
I’ve been a migrant for over 15 years, lived in 5 countries (🇨🇴🇨🇺🇩🇪🇫🇷🇨🇿), and I’m part of a multicultural family. This experience gives me a sharp and compassionate lens for something that is often misunderstood:
many struggles that look “personal” are deeply shaped by the realities of migrant life 🌎.
Migration changes everything — your nervous system, identity, relationships, and the kind of support you have around you. Cultural differences, communication styles, grief, loneliness, and the pressure to “adapt fast” can create emotional exhaustion and relationship tension.
I work with women 💁🏻♀️who:
carry a heavy mental and emotional load
struggle with guilt when setting boundaries
feel disconnected from joy, pleasure, or inner peace
grew up in environments marked by violence or emotional insecurity
want to rebuild self-worth, emotional safety, and a stronger sense of self
feel their life is “not what they imagined” and want real change
👫👬👭I also support bicultural couples who want to:
understand each other beyond cultural misunderstandings
break repeating conflict cycles
strengthen intimacy, trust, and connection
build practical tools for communication and repair — not just analysis
My work is body-based, trauma-informed, and practical. Through movement, nervous system support, emotional processing, and deep reflection, we don’t only talk about change — we embody it and live it.
