WHEN IT COMES TO DIET, EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT, RIGHT?
NO! And let me explain why: Every creature on the planet has its own diet (only one), from which it does not deviate, which was reached due to its own evolution. No one doubts that the elephant has its diet, that the cheetah has its diet, that hyenas have their diet (different from that of the cheetah), that hippos have their diet, and so on. The original meaning of the word diet is LIFESTYLE, while nowadays it has been transformed into: altering the usual lifestyle, to get some results over a certain period of time.
Homo Sapiens, meaning we humans have a diet, a style of feeding, in order to be in the best physical and mental shape. We all need the same nutrients (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc.) for the proper functioning of our body, regardless of continent of origin, race, s*x, etc. For example, if a person, any person, eats very healthy, natural, organic, etc. but we somehow manage to get the vitamin C out of all the food we eat, eventually the person will get sick (scurvy) and die.
When we say "everyone is different" when it comes to diet, what we really mean is that each of us has developed different levels of sensitivity and tolerance to certain foods.
The more we move away from our diet, and eat foods that our body is not designed to process, the harder our body struggles to cope with them and more resources it will use to eliminate them as quickly as possible.
