Recently, I’ve realized that the theme of death is present everywhere, in every moment, every second of our existence. And I don’t necessarily mean physical death. I’m talking about endings: something within us dying, a fear, a pattern, a thought, something we once believed in, something we don’t fully have control over, mainly our emotions. 💫
And that’s the scary part.💫
Because in a split of second, everything can change, for the worse, but also for the better. Isn’t that the most frightening part of life? Think about it. Can you be sure about tomorrow? You can’t. 💫
And yet… when you really think about it, that’s also the most beautiful thing.
When you stop holding on so tightly, that’s where freedom begins. For me, that is the true sense of freedom, when no one, nothing, not even myself, has full control over me.
Do you know who our biggest enemy is?
Our own brain.
The mind is constantly locked in survival mode, always pushing us to do more, become better, achieve something, make more money, as if stopping for just one moment would mean having to face the truth that, eventually, we are nothing and no one.
And that’s exactly what terrifies us.
But what if we could simply be, without questioning our worth, our direction, our meaning every second?
What if we didn’t have to constantly prove that we deserve to exist?
Because everything is simply happening right here, in this moment.
