Still reminiscing about our last listening event, we are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting Abdullah Miniawy’s new solo concert on October 22nd in Ankali’s new listening room, pluto.

Of Egyptian origins and strongly revolutionary mindset, Miniawy has made a place for himself in the experimental music scene by use of his harrowing voice and profound songwriting.

With his new project, he is set to narrate yet another compelling fable of mesmerising notes.

Ahead of her visit to Prague later this month, hermeneia contributes an entrancing mix to the Deviant podcast series. The Warsaw-based DJ & vocalist takes us on a 50 minute trip soundtracked by murky pads and sparse, flickering drum patterns, clocking in at just below the sweet 100bpm mark.

Deviant is back for a sub–heavy summer affair.

Returning to Planeta's booth is Warsaw’s own DJ & vocalist hermeneia. The founder of FURDA club nights and Unsound Festival affiliate has been doing the rounds of our favourite radio platforms (NTS, HÖR or Rinse) with sick sets blending hefty soundsystem hitters and dubby dancehall bullets, moving from slow to fast with an effortless flair.

Joining her is a cast of local selectors: Tobleronchik with her dreamy tunes in Planeta's garden and Deviant's own just claudia and phil in a maze.

A year ago, we decided to bring Zohar to Prague as we were standing on the dancefloor, listening to her maverick tune shifts at Dekmantel Selectors. And we couldn’t help ourselves to bring her with us once again this Saturday.

Formerly known as Rachel Green, Zohar has been making the Dutch waves for a while now, both as a seasoned DJ, Echobox radio founder and as a recently appointed Garage Noord programmer. Her sharp selection and sleek technique - with that sweet spot for the bass - makes her sets a delight.

Ready or not, here she comes.
