🚀 MB PHARMA, together with its sister company FAGOFARMA, is launching a new Deep Tech project – “Development of medicinal products DUOFAG® and TRIOFAG® based on safe and effective bacteriophages.” 🦠

Together, we are bringing phage therapy closer to patients by developing functional prototypes for clinical testing and building two GMP pilot production units, marking an important step toward a new generation of antimicrobial treatments.

This project is co-funded by the European Union through the Operational Programme Technology and Application for Competitiveness (OP TAK) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic 🇪🇺🤝🇨🇿

💡 Big news from MB PHARMA! 🚀

We’re kicking off a new project focused on advanced lyophilization technology to create a stable, lyophilized form of bacteriophage lysates. This innovation will extend shelf life, simplify storage and logistics, and support large-scale production of next-generation phage therapeutics 🦠.

🔬FAGOFARMA & MB Pharma at the Roundtable of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic🔬

On June 25, we took part in an event held at the Czernin Palace, focused on the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, and life sciences.

🎯The goal of the meeting was to provide economic diplomats with deeper insight into these sectors and to discuss ways to support Czech exports.

👨‍💼Milan Buňata presented our experience and perspective on the potential of phage therapy and the growing role of the Czech Republic in this field.

We are proud to have represented the Czech biotechnology sector and to contribute to the expert discussion on the future of this industry.✨

The Targeting Phage Therapy 2025 Congress in Berlin brought together researchers from all over the world — and we’re proud to say our team was part of it.
