🌸 The security that a pregnant woman feels is a building block for her baby's brain.

🧠 A baby's brain develops in the womb - and it feels more than we can imagine.
When a mother is exposed to stress for a long time, her body produces hormones that also pe*****te the baby. These hormones affect the parts of the brain that are related to emotions and learning.
🎯 Hippocampus - related to memory, learning and the ability to cope with stress.
🎯 Amygdala - the center of emotions and fear, affects sensitivity to anxiety and moods.
🎯 Prefrontal cortex - responsible for concentration, planning and self-control.
🎯 White matter - "connects" different parts of the brain, stress can slow down its maturation.

This may mean that the child will later be more prone to anxiety, more sensitive to stress, or have difficulty concentrating. 🌱

However, this does not mean that occasional stress or a difficult period will automatically hurt. The brain is very malleable. And the most important thing a child needs after birth is loving closeness, safety and a relationship in which they can grow. ✨

“If I show my true self… will they not like me anymore?” 💭💔

😢 Maybe you are hiding your tears so that others don’t see you as weak.
😠 Maybe you are stifling your anger because you are afraid of being judged and rejected.
🎭 Maybe you are telling yourself that you have to be “better” or “different” to deserve closeness.

Many of us have this fear because once upon a time we were not accepted in our emotions, weakness, and in expressing our true selves. And that hurt 💔. And so we try to avoid that pain again. But that is precisely what prevents us from true intimacy 💞, connection, acceptance, and peace. And it takes away our vitality and energy.

😔 “I’m always on the run – and yet I feel like my life is slipping away.”

When you take a breath in the morning, your to-do list is already running through your head.
When you eat lunch, you check your emails.
When you’re with your kids, you’re thinking about a meeting.
🤯
Work pressure. Multitasking. Endless to-do lists.
Every day, we are pushed forward. But at what cost? What are we missing?

Presence.
That moment that will never come again.
We rob ourselves of touch, breath, smile, peace. And the experience of it.

Stopping is not weakness. It’s a return to ourselves.
To the life that is happening right now. And we often tend to forget it.

Strength grows in accepting what is right now 🍃
Emotional understanding is not something that appears on its own – it grows from small daily positive experiences 🌱, from our listening 👂 and acceptance.
When we give a child space to name what they feel 💬, and assure them that their feelings are okay 💖, we teach them trust – in us, the world around them, and especially in themselves.

😊 And it is this trust that becomes their support in times of joy and pain.

✨ Thank you…
On the very first day of the festival – even before the official opening – our team had the chance to meet people and invite them into a space of experience, sharing, and gentle togetherness.

It was beautiful. The sun was shining, everything was calm, the atmosphere warm… pure bliss.
Together, we allowed ourselves to touch themes of grief, sorrow, and shame.
We shared, we listened – and experienced what it’s like when healing doesn’t happen in the head alone, but through the body.
Through noticing emotions, subtle automatic reactions, and old patterns.

We explored active and compassionate listening.

It was moving to witness how each person felt what it’s like when someone simply holds space for them – without judgment, without trying to fix anything… just being there.
And how challenging it can be for us not to fall into the “helper syndrome” – that impulse to advise, to encourage, to rescue.

The closing circle was full of tears, emotion, and gratitude. I left with the feeling that what we wanted to share – that healing is born in the body and in safe connection – truly happened.
