Welcome MLAS 2023! 🥳
It’s already October again – so it is time to say hello to a new group of students! We are happy to welcome our new students for M. Sc. Laboratory Animal Science!
At our digital Welcome Day, we welcomed students from six different nations who will learn, train, and study together for the next two years 👨‍🎓👩‍🎓

After a warm welcome from our scientific directors Prof. Dr. René Tolba and PD Dr. Julia Steitz, they introduced our training facilities at the RWTH University Clinic and the detailed course structure. The students will attend digital webinars twice per week. Since our master degree is extra occupational, the webinars are held after working hours. Additionally, every semester ends with an attendance phase, during which our students are trained practically for ten days.

After our presentation, our students also introduced themselves and their various backgrounds – and we are more than happy to have such a diverse and motivated group. Since we want not only create academic progress but also great memories, it is important to us that our students grow together as a group and become part of our big network. So days like this lay the foundation for a great study experience 📝💻🐁

Thank to all our students for joining us and good luck for your first semester! We are looking forward to meeting you all in person in February! 🤝

To offer excellent teaching in small international groups with intense practical phases, our degrees are paid programs.

To study with us, the tuition fee is paid to us, the RWTH International Academy. It is splitted in various instalments which can be found in the individual participation agreement. Deadlines and bank information can be found there as well.

Additionally, a second payment needs to transfered every semester to the RWTH University: the semester fee. It secures the student status. All information, like amount, bank information, or payment status, can be found in RWTHonline.
