Kerling was founded as a german company, that started its business by producing everything around wig making.

Today the company produces and sells nearly everything for theatres and make-up artists (and also for private use)
Kerling Internatiol Haarfabrik Kerling International was established in Backnang near Stuttgart (Germany) in 1960. Initially the Kerlings started with a small factory that refined hair. Within a short time the company developed into a successful operation for hair. By and by they expanded their product range and included ready-made hair pieces, wigs and toupees. In recent years, Kerling International has been one of the leading suppliers of secondary hair. Because of the contact to theaters and freelance make up artists for example for the film business, Kerling was asked for many other materials you need in that sector, and finally started selling and producing cosmetics and products for the theater demand, too.
