Official page for the Baumholder Army Health Clinic in Baumholder, Germany. Reactivated during the Korean War 1950-51 and from 1952-58 served from Ft.

The unit now known as Baumholder Army Health Clinic was activated in December 1942 as the 30th Field Hospital which was deactivated after WWI. Bragg, NC and the Fitzsimons Army Hospital, Colorado. In August 1965, the unit moved to Germany providing service to Augsburg and Worms communities before moving to Baumholder in September 1981. On 16 February 1994, it was re-flagged as the 29th Medical Detachment. On 15 November 1994, the organization was designated as the United States Army Health Clinic Baumholder and on 12 June 2014 assumed mission command over Kaiserslautern Army Health Clinic.

As of OCTOBER 16, 2025, the Clinic Kaserne Parking Lot if FINALLY Operational!!!

We encourage our Patients, Family Members, Service Members, and Staffs to refrain from parking on the back of the Clinic to reduce traffic congestion and accidents.

Please see below for two service updates:

•Sick Call will be closed on 29 & 30 September

•The Baumholder Flu Drive will be starting at the end of October. Please see the flyers below for all the dates and details

📣Clinic Service Update📣

Please be aware of the following changes to clinic services:

• Sick Call Closure: September 23, 25, and 26

• Contraceptive Clinic Closure: September 24

• Staff Training – September 25

○ Behavioral Health & Physical Therapy: Normal hours and services

○ No walk-in services available

○ Virtual services only (Primary Care, Radiology, Pharmacy)

• Contraceptive Clinic Hours (effective October): 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 0900–1100

• EFMP Update: The EFMP Army Enterprise website is projected to be upgraded by October 27. Temporary difficulties with case submissions may occur during and shortly after the upgrade

The Army Enterprise EFMP website is currently down, which may cause delays in processing EFMP packets. MRC Europe is aware of the issue and is actively working to resolve it.

📢 Clinic Service Updates 📢

Please note the following modified hours and closures:

• Monday, 18 August – Delayed opening for the first day of school. Patient care will begin at 0900.
• Sick Call – Closed on Monday, 18 August and Friday, 29 August.
• Wednesday, 27 August – Afternoon clinic closed for training.
• Contraceptive Clinic – Closed on Wednesday, 27 August and Wednesday, 3 September.

📢 Garrison Exercise – Clinic Impact 📢

There is a regularly occurring exercise happening across the garrison. Please note the following impacts during this period:

• 🚗 Limited parking around the clinic
• ⏳ Longer wait times at the gate
• 🪪 Two forms of ID required
• 🚗 Possible random vehicle inspections

📣Afternoon Closure for Change of Responsibility📣

This afternoon, Tuesday, 5 August, starting at 1200 our clinic will be closed for our Change of Responsibility ceremony. Walk-in services for Lab, Radiology, and Optometry will close at 1100.

📣 Clinic Service Updates 📣

》Behavioral Health Check-In Location Change

Due to ongoing air conditioning installation, the check-in location for Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder Clinical Care (SUDCC) will move from the second floor to the first floor of Building 8742 starting Monday, 4 August 2025.

Please note: While check-in will now take place downstairs, you may still be seen on the second floor depending on your appointment. We will share an update once construction is complete.

》Walk-In Contraceptive Clinic Closure

On Wednesday, 6 August, the Walk-In Contraceptive Clinic will be closed due to the Back-to-School Physicals being conducted that day
