Our Yin Yang and the Wu Tang - DharmaBrunch #5 is a luxurious 4 hour Saturday retreat where you can experience a long and powerful yoga session, a vegan feast and learn theory and healing techniques from one of the world's oldest and most comprehensive traditional medicines!

What? and Why?

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is the practice of the middle path - the balance of yin and yang. This path, however, is not static; it is a dynamic unfolding, ever-changing state of transformation. To retain harmony we must cultivate the ability to harmoniously flow and respond to internal and external changes.

To maintain the middle path allows for a deep sense of peace, and prepares us for the contemplation of the Divine.

A delectable way to spend yo Saturday.

What a nice article guys. Made me realise how much it is about Ta**ra. Creativity in Ta**ra is the primordial aspect of the universe. Yes, the very basis of the universe if you will.

"Just as an artist may not contain his delight within himself, but pours it out into a song, a picture or a poem even so the Supreme Artist pours out the delightful wonder of His splendour into manifestation or creation." - Abhinavagupta.

Creativity is the energy of the absolute, its Shakti.

And we too can experience this power every second of our life if we allow for the absolute to express through us. For this process we need only one thing: to unlearn. Unlearn the dogmatic, obedient behaviour taught in society. Become the rebel of a free heart.

I am glad, that this idea is finally becoming more and more mainstream.

Businesses urgently need innovative people, so we must dispel the myth that creativity is something mysterious that cannot be encouraged

Heya since a few hours DharmaBrunch has a blog where the topics of the talks and other inspirational ideas will find their place. The first article is a metaphor for the topic of the next event Revolutionary Ta**ra in Modern Life - DharmaBrunch #4.

The way we see our world, become what we are. So how does the ta***ic change the way he sees the world, to become free and unbound, a 100%.

In the heart of the mountain, in the millennia of untouched darkness and eerie echoing sounds lies the cave of our convictions. Filtered through the wall of memories, from time to time little drops of thoughts drip onto the floor and make a little echo that slowly gets absorbed by the vastness of th...

Very true - there is absolutely no good or bad, right or wrong, more or less in yoga. There is just a state of being with yourself, a state of enjoying and embracing yourself.

As a yoga teacher I often hear from students, “I like yoga, but I’m not good at it.” What I understand from this is that they feel they’re expected to do the poses ‘co…

What sounds like ephemeral poetry at first is a topic thats deeply routed in reality and even explored by modern quantum physics. The latter part is referring to the famous double slit experiment, where particles (and even molecules) behave like waves(or potentials) instead of solid particles(or facts), depending on the observer. An observer changes the outcome of the experiment. Observing turns potentials into facts or collapses the wave to a particle.

This lead to the term of a holographic universe. A universe that is present at all times, beyond time as mere information (or idea). As potentiality. As a probability wave, to speak in terms of quantum physics. And it is only by the observing consciousness that it gets “rendered” to become manifest.
The famous Schroedinger Cat is an allegorical example of this behaviour. The cat is in a box and before you open the box it’s neither alive nor dead, but there is a probability for both. So it’s both at the same time. The double slit experiment is a more technical approach to the same - particles behaving as overlapping waves of probabilities and becoming a particle upon observation.

But if something is just a wave of probability. There has to be a medium in which this wave is carried: The united whole in which everything is encompassed and comes to life.

In the Vedic science this medium is called “Shiva”, or infinite consciousness. It is this unified field of consciousness that creates, maintains, and uncreates all aspects of the cosmos and for which we are like little thoughts and ideas.
So to speak until the author has decided to develop the story in a certain way, everything is possible, both outcomes - the cat is alive AND dead. And it is these little things that we observe in quantum physics. Because our awareness, our consciousness is the part of the infinite consciousness.

Shiva ponders upon himself in the reflection of the minds onto each other.

A single drop hangs in the ceiling and now and then it falls to the ground, day in day out for millennia. And slowly slowly the dripstones take their forms. A tiny little drop of something as liquid and formless as water creates something as solid and ageless as a stone.

Such is the power of consciousness.

The Ta***ic believes that only by changing ones own consciousness, the physical world can change. By being unattached to material things, greed is eradicated. By being unconditionally loving, jealousy is vanished.

Changing the world for a ta***ic simply means to direct this consciousness, not to overthrow the government, not to make laws and not to occupy.

It all begins and ends in the infinity of your own heart.

This little act of consciousness is all there is to a revolution, which is the topic of the upcoming DharmaBrunch.

“I regret nothing ever” - What an egoistic, inconsiderate thing to say? But then again Jack Sparrow is a pirate! However there might be a much deeper meaning to this simple quote, if looked at from the ta***ic perspective.

What does it mean to regret doing something (or not doing something)? It might be a missed opportunity to be bold, funny or maybe on the contrary to be quiet and thoughtful? Or it might be a wrong choice we have decided in life, to go in one direction or the other.
Whatever the reason for regret: The essence of it is always an idea of thinking a “what if” - an alternative to the past resulting in a presumably better future. So regret at the end is a dwelling on the past - while life only happens in the now: The past is memory, while the future is fantasy. Only “now” is really now.

When Jack Sparrow categorically says he regrets nothing, does he mean he is being ruthless and ignorant or does he maybe say that he simply doesn’t care about the past and the future so much?

So in a way he is present in this very moment, where life happens and thus lives his life fully, expressing whatever there is to express now, reaping whatever there is to reap from the moment and at the end getting what he wants!

The ancient indian scriptures “the vedas” speak of this ability to live life as Dharma, of the success that it brings as Artha and of the happiness that it creates as K**a. From this point of view Dharma - Artha - K**a is maybe exactly what Jack Sparrow is speaking about, when he says he doesn’t regret ever!

So by not regretting, through living life by the moment, without clinging to past and future we become this successful, ta***ic vagabond, symbolised by the pirate Jack Sparrow!

Join DharmaBrunch #3 for more Jack Sparrow awesomeness!
