What to Do When the Stress Creeps Back In

We don’t live in a peaceful quiet Ashram in the Himalayas - even though that does sound pretty nice.
We live in busy cities, with full schedules, sudden changes, and moments that pull us away from the calm we feel after class.

That’s why it’s so important to carry that calm with us - and remember that peace isn’t somewhere “out there.” It starts inside.

✨ Here are a few gentle tools to help you return to your innerpeace when things get overwhelming:

🌱 Choose a calming word (like ease, soft, peace, open, love) and repeat it silently when you feel tension
🌱 Take a short walk in nature.
🌱 Carry a japa mala - just touching it can bring you back to the moment
🌱 Take 3 deep breaths before reacting - it creates space to respond, not just react
🌱 Smile to everyone around you, smile brings positive energy to everyone

Even small moments like these are yoga in action - off the mat, in real life.

From the Mat to Daily Life - Can the Peace Last?

You leave class feeling soft and grounded… and then life hits again: emails, U-Bahn delays, and noisy neighbors test your peace.
This month, we explore how to stay in that post-yoga state even when life gets messy.

Do you have a ritual that helps you stay connected?

Comment below or drop us a message - how do you keep your yoga energy throughout the day? We’d love to share your ideas!

Mindfulness is the art of being fully present - in your breath, your body, your day, your choices
The moment is all there is! Embrace it.

Appreciate the richness of the moment. When you eat, just eat. When you read, just read. When you spend time with a friend, truly be with them.

This moment is enough.

Meet our teacher - Kia! 🧘‍♀️

“I’ve been devoted to body-mind practices for about two decades, exploring yoga, dance, and somatic movement as pathways into presence, wellness, and self-discovery. Whether guiding a slow restorative journey or a dynamic vinyasa class, my focus is on nurturing presence - meeting the breath, sensing the body, and resting in the wholeness of being.”

- why do you love teaching?
“While my teaching is rooted in anatomy, physiology, and movement principles, what I love about yoga goes beyond the physical. Teaching yoga, for me, is about holding space where people can tune inward and enrich their wellbeing. My guiding light is our “inner gold”- that sense of aliveness, attunement and resonance shining from within - and I delight in the journey toward it! What fills me most is seeing people soften into practice and breathe together. I teach to nourish and share these moments of presence and connection.”

- could you tell us 2 facts about yourself?
“Alongside teaching, I create video art and immersive installations, and design custom artistic experiences for events, including performances, card readings, and mysterious, magical journeys.

I’m endlessly mesmerized by moving water like rivers and waterfalls! I can spend hours staring into the water in silence, listening and reflecting. Water often flows into my teaching as a living metaphor: an element that is both soft and powerful, fluid and whole, strong and effortless. 🕉”

Meet our teacher - Corinna 🧘

“My yoga journey started several years ago when I discovered somatic practices and first experienced how healing conscious movement and breath can be. Yoga gave me focus, direction, and connection. I feel deeply honored to now share this practice with others, while continuing to learn and grow myself.

I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India last year and am currently working toward my +300-hour advanced certification. Born and raised in Berlin, I’m grateful to now be teaching in my hometown.”

- Why do you love teaching?
“For me, teaching is about holding space where people can explore their breath and movement without judgment. I aim to create a welcoming environment where everyone can show up exactly as they are. What fills my heart the most is seeing students feel at ease in their own bodies.”

- Could you share 2 facts about yourself?
“Before becoming a teacher, I was a regular student at Yoga Hub! Teaching at the cozy Friedrichshain location always feels like a full circle moment.

Outside of yoga, I also work as a social media manager. Having an office job myself helps me better understand the needs of people who sit all day - both physically and mentally - and I love offering practical tools to support them through yoga.”

Meet our teacher - Alex 🧘‍♀️

“I have a deep fascination with how us humans make sense of our experience in this world. It started with psychology and then evolved with the discovery of yoga and somatics. This was the missing link between the mind and the body. “

- Why do you love teaching?
Teaching this practice is a huge honour, and lately I see it as a personal responsibility. I believe we owe it to ourselves to discover who we truly are, and I try to create a context on the mat for people to open themselves up to their felt experience.

- Could you tell us two facts about yourself?

“A few months ago I started writing a blog on Substack that reignited my passion for using words and language as self-expression. I write about nervous system resilience, somatic intelligence and holistic healing.

I used to organise electronic music parties when I lived in London, before my yoga era. Those were some fun years! I still love a good musical experience on the dance floor occasionally, and I dance regularly in my living room 😌”
