Marta - Yoga & Doula in Berlin

Marta - Yoga & Doula in Berlin Certified Pranayoga Method® (700+) yoga teacher and DONA doula (birth & postpartum) in Berlin. It is a practice for Every-Body, with no physical limits.

This practice is based on connection and inclusiveness: it is open to Every-Body. The yoga I practice is based on the Pranayoga Method® I learned from Amanda and Maurizio Morelli. It integrates physical body postures (asana) with breath work (pranayama), introspection, visualisations, voice, sound and much more. It uses the door of relaxation and softness to enter in a state of flow and subtleness. Pregnancy yoga has been a source of intense fascination. The wonder of this very special time in life has brought me to start working as a doula and to offer support in pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I am a certified doula with DONA International, trained and inspired by Ibu Robin Lim and Debra Pascali Bonaro.

Also at Kiezoase we host a sharing circle for all parents and babies 0-12 months, every Mon. 14:00-15:30, free of charge

Taking care of our postpartum bodies in a group of supportive mothers. You are welcome to practice with your baby or by yourself, as you wish.

This class uses asana (positions), movements and pranayama (breathing) to heal and support body, mind and heart, with the safety and awareness of the Pranayoga Method®.

You can join from about 6 weeks after a vaginal birth, or 8 weeks after a cesarean birth, as long as your body feels ready and your doctor has encouraged you to resume your practice.

You are warmly invited to this weekly prenatal yoga class, guided by a birth doula.

This fluid and grounding practice will be based on the Pranayoga Method®'s hatha yoga and adapted for pregnancy, with Spinning Babies® principles. We will move body and breath with a focus on:

*grounding and stability in times of change
*lateral opening and making space in our bodies
*strengthening and making new positions comfortable
*allowing ourselves to open and let go

Alignment is first of all to ourselves. It is yoga for Every-Body, with respect and safety for each unique practitioner. Open to all levels.
