Advent Day 8 - Get Inspired! 🎊

December can feel really heavy. Our energy levels dip, the days grow darker, and our minds overflow with end-of-year tasks. It’s easy to feel unmotivated, even for the things we normally love. When your training starts to feel a hard, it may be the perfect moment to add something fresh, fun, and energizing to your routine.

This week at LUFT, we want to help you to reconnect with joy, movement, and community.

🌟 For Total Beginners:

Aerial Hoop & Aerial Silks – Intro Classes

Whether you’re brand new to aerial or already skilled in another apparatus, stepping into something completely different can feel real good. Embrace the feeling of being a true beginner again, rediscover curiosity, and give yourself a head start BEFORE the January “new year – new me” rush arrives.

🌟 For a bit more experienced Flyers:

Aerial Hoop 2 – Special Class with Hand Loop

Try a new prop and get inspired to work with hoop a bit differently!

🌟 For all:

*Saturday Student & Teacher Showcase*

End your week with a warm, uplifting evening - come watch your teachers and fellow students perform their (mostly!) Christmas-inspired acts. Only a few tickets left! Each of them participates in a lottery 🏆

Let this week be your reminder: inspiration is everywhere. Don't lose your spark!

Day 7 - Don’t Compare, Cheer ✨

In aerial, it’s easy to look at professional artists or flawless Instagram videos and feel like we’re miles behind. But growth isn’t a race - it's a personal journey in the air and on the ground. Today, celebrate how far YOU have come, no matter how small the steps may seem. Do you remember your first invert? First climb? How proud you were! Stay proud! And when you see someone else thriving, cheer them on. Their success doesn’t diminish yours - it amplifies the strength of our whole community.

Keep climbing, keep cheering, keep shining. ✨

Welcome to Day 5 of our Advent Calendar!
Today’s little reminder gift: stay hydrated.
Cold weather + heating = dry air. And if you’re training hard, your body needs even more water.

Even a 2% loss of body water can affect performance causing fatigue, cramps, and reduced strength. Hydration keeps your circulation steady, supports your joints, helps your heart, and keeps your muscles working their best.

To help you stay on track, check out our bright yellow bottles. Want one?
Just comment “Flow” below.
Winners—as always—will be announced on 24.12.

Happy 3rd day of Advent! 🎄✨
How’s your training journaling going? 😶‍🌫️If you’re looking to work on your front balance outside of class, .artist has a few great floor exercises you can add to your daily routine — all done lying on your belly:

1. Straight Leg Raises
Lift both straight legs off the floor without bending your knees. Great for activating your glutes, hamstrings, and lower back.

2. Straight Leg Holds
From the same position, lift your legs and hold. Start with 10 - 20 seconds and build up as you get stronger.

3. Bent-Arm Torso Raises
With elbows bent and hands near your face, lift your chest off the floor using your back muscles (not your hands!).

4. Extended-Arm Torso Raises
Arms straight in a “superman” position. Raise your chest and arms together while keeping your neck long.

These simple drills build the control and strength you need for a solid front balance. Add them to your everyday routine and feel the progress! 💪

Hello on the second day of Advent!
Today we’re coming to you with something truly important: a plan. 🌟

It doesn’t matter whether you’re an experienced aerialist or just beginning your journey - anyone can feel lost at any stage. Many people create huge, overwhelming plans in January, trying to do everything at once, while others rely completely on spontaneity. Don’t get us wrong: spontaneous exploration is wonderful and absolutely has its place! But never underestimate the power of a thoughtful plan.

December is a perfect month to start one—especially if you don’t yet keep a training log. It can be digital, but why not try a classic paper journal? Putting pen to paper strengthens the connection between hand and mind, and colors, textures, and design can spark inspiration.

✨Where to begin?✨
Start by tracking your habits.
Write down your trainings—not just what you did and when, but also:

❓How did it feel?

❓What was your energy level?

❓Did you enjoy it?

❓Did anything inspire you?

❓What didn’t you like or what felt off?

The more insights you gather now, the smoother your January will be. Don't forget to list your recovery: sleep, physical therapy, days off.
❓How rested do you feel?

🌟Found some inspiration along the way? Write it down!

🎈Remember: you never start from zero. Even beginners bring movement patterns and a whole history of physical experience with them.

Let December be a month of self-reflection. And if you want guidance, reach out to your favorite coach for a 1:1 session where you can go over your training and recovery logs together, and talk about your goals and dreams.

Have a lovely afternoon! See you at LUFT! ⭕

Good afternoon, aerialists! In the next 24 days leading up to Christmas, we’re gifting you 24 tips for body and mind from our trainers and friends, just for you! 🎁✨
Whether you’re a seasoned aerialist or just starting out, check our profile daily to collect them all, read the posts, and get a chance to win something really nice for yourself or a friend.

Gift #1 is a conditioning drill for meathooks, shared by our .

✨The meathook is a complex move that demands strong shoulders, a solid core, and full-body engagement, just like many other aerial skills (doesn't it make aerial arts beautiful?). Once your straddle hold is stable, you’ll meet the Level 1 classic: the Tick-Tock (video 2).
At the beginning, don’t worry about sliding your leg far to the side. Even moving it just a centimeter behind the hoop is enough to fire up your obliques and hip flexors.

“Tick-Tock” is also one of the first pathways into the meathook (and back out of it) that we introduce in Level 1 classes. Controlled descent is very important, especially for aerialists working on stability, including those who are hypermobile.

✨When your meathook becomes strong and your stamina improves, try the "Teeter-Totter Meathook" (video 3). It’s a challenge even for advanced aerialists! 🫠💪

✨Not there yet and prefer staying close to the ground? Do something kind for your body today and add some old-school side plank holds to your routine (video 4). A classic for a reason!

See you tomorrow ✨🌲

... every day. Every year, Black Friday rolls around with pressure to slash prices and compete in a race driven by giant corporations. The demand to participate in it can be overwhelming for small businesses offering services or tiny stock of products.

As a small aerial studio, we believe those expectations aren't fair. Big companies can afford deep discounts because of their scale. We can’t, and truthfully, we *shouldn’t* have to. Our value isn’t mass-produced or factory-made. What we offer is personal, specialized, artistic, and crafted with care: a space to grow stronger, braver, and more connected.

Our prices reflect the invaluable time of our instructors, the safety and quality of our equipment, and the heart we put into every class. We refuse to devalue that just because the calendar says so.

If you want to support our space, the best “deal” is your continued presence - showing up to class, events (yes, some of them are free or inexpensive), recommending us to friends (we are introducing the referral program soon!), sharing our content, and being part of a community built on passion, not pressure.

This we are working on a sustainable offer for 2026. We hope to announce it very soon.

Thank you for choosing small. Thank you for choosing local. Thank you for choosing us. 🖤

Have a lovely Friday!
