PHENOBASE is a knowledge database for clinicians and scientists preclinical research in neurology and psychiatry. PHENOBASE gives researchers an overview of neuro-psychiatric disorders and related symptoms , as well as investigation methods used in preclinical animal models. The database is the key that grants access to extensive technical literature which contains comprehensive method descriptions for behavioral phenotyping of transgenic and knockout mouse models. For specific disease models , the database provides detailed test procedures for characterisation of mouse models.
