Our journey started with the Export Meeting at Meyra in Porta Westfalica, where we had the opportunity to exchange ideas, share innovations, and connect with partners from across the globe. From there, we headed straight to three exciting days at REHACARE – International Trade Fair for Rehabilitation and Care 2025 in Düsseldorf.

It was a week full of meaningful encounters – reconnecting with long-standing contacts and establishing many new international connections.

We are deeply grateful for the constructive and forward-looking conversations we had, and for the chance to share perspectives on how to continue improving wheelchair provision together.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone we met – partners, colleagues, friends – for making this week so valuable. We wish you all a safe journey home and look forward to the collaborations and projects that will follow!

Two Inspiring Days at the Meyra Export Meeting in Germany

Over the past two days, we had the privilege of joining the Meyra Export Meeting in Germany as Wheel Greece. Representatives from more than 30 countries and over 70 partners came together to share knowledge, discuss innovation, and shape the future of mobility solutions.

We were honored to be given a slot to present SIMO – our wheelchair simulator – and the response could not have been more positive.

Why was SIMO such a highlight?
✅ For professionals – SIMO makes the measurement process faster, more precise, and less physically demanding. Experts can see in real time how adjustments impact the user’s posture, ensuring an optimal fit from the very beginning.
✅ For wheelchair users – It’s not just about numbers and measurements. SIMO makes the process tangible and understandable. Users can feel and see what “optimal seating” really means, actively take part in their own provision, and gain confidence in their new wheelchair.
✅ For the healthcare system – Fewer adjustments afterwards, less risk of errors, and a smoother, more efficient process.

Together with Meyra, we share the same mission: to provide the best possible wheelchairs and ensure every user receives a solution that truly fits their life.

Now, the exciting work begins – developing strategies for each country, adapting to their unique needs while making SIMO accessible through our flexible rental model.

Neuer SIMO Standort in Deutschland – Sanitätshaus Zimmermann in Cottbus

Neben den Besuchen unserer bestehenden SIMO Standorte können wir nun eine weitere Partnerschaft verkünden:
Das traditionsreiche Sanitätshaus Zimmermann aus Cottbus setzt ab sofort auf unsere innovative Technologie, um Aktivrollstühle noch präziser und individueller anzupassen.

Gestern durften wir gemeinsam einen spannenden Tag erleben – mit den ersten begeisterten Kunden, die direkt spüren und sehen konnten, welchen Unterschied SIMO in der Versorgung macht. Die Bilder sprechen für sich.

SIMO bei X Carstens – Auxilium gemeinsam erleben

Unser nächster Halt führte uns zu X Carstens in Stuttgart, einem weiteren wichtigen Teil der Auxilium Gruppe, die mit dem Konzept „Wir sind X“ ihre gemeinsamen Ziele verfolgt und maßgeblich mitgestaltet.

Besonders spannend: Auch die Auxilium-Kollegen von o|r|t Göttingen waren vor Ort und konnten sich direkt einen Eindruck von der Welt von SIMO verschaffen. Das Feedback war eindeutig – Begeisterung darüber, was heute alles möglich ist, um Kundinnen und Kunden nicht nur fachlich zu beraten, sondern sie auch emotional mitzunehmen.

Wie Simon Öhlschläger von X Carstens es formuliert:
„Bei SIMO geht es für mich nicht nur um das erlebbare Rollstuhlaufmaß und die vielen Vorteile, sondern vor allem darum, dass unsere Kunden wirklich abgeholt werden. Sie können ihre Versorgung mitbestimmen und schon im Vorfeld verstehen, was sie erwartet.“

Genau das ist SIMO: Ein Werkzeug, das Expertise sichtbar macht, Vertrauen schafft und die Versorgung auf ein neues Niveau hebt.

SIMO bei Haus Luttermann in Essen – Teil der Auxilium Gruppe „Wir sind X“

Unser dritter Stopp führte uns nach Essen zu Haus Luttermann, das zur Auxilium Gruppe gehört und gerade mit dem neuen Konzept „Wir sind X“ einen wichtigen Schritt in die Zukunft geht.

Passend dazu konnten wir auch hier die neueste SIMO-Software installieren und gemeinsam mit dem Team besprechen, wie sie das tägliche Arbeiten noch effizienter und anschaulicher macht.

Mit der neuen Funktion können Rollstuhlnutzer ihre Sitzposition nicht nur fühlen, sondern gleichzeitig live auf dem Bildschirm sehen – aus der Front- und Seitenansicht. Jede Veränderung wird sofort sichtbar, was die Anpassung noch transparenter macht und Vertrauen schafft.

Wir finden: Das passt perfekt zum Gedanken von „Wir sind X“ – gemeinsam stärker, moderner und näher am Menschen.

Neues für SIMO aus Koblenz!

Nach unserem Stopp in Darmstadt ging es für uns direkt weiter nach Koblenz zu Burbach + Goetz. Dort durften wir nicht nur spannende Gespräche führen, sondern auch die aktuellste SIMO-Software in Betrieb nehmen.

Das Highlight:
Rollstuhlnutzer können während der Vermessung ab sofort in Echtzeit sehen, wie sich jede kleine Anpassung der Sitzposition auswirkt – sichtbar aus der Frontal- und Seitenperspektive. So wird das, was bisher nur spürbar war, nun auch visuell nachvollziehbar.

Für die Experten bedeutet das: noch mehr Präzision und Vertrauen im Anpassungsprozess.
Für die Nutzer: ein völlig neues Verständnis für die eigene Sitzhaltung – und die Gewissheit, wirklich optimal versorgt zu sein.

Wir sind begeistert, gemeinsam mit Burbach + Goetz und dem Sanitähaus Wittlich diesen Schritt zu gehen und freuen uns, SIMO auch in Koblenz im Einsatz zu sehen.

🇮🇹 SIMO in Palermo!

The last two days we had the pleasure of installing our second SIMO in Italy at Centro Ortopedico Ferranti - Gruppo Vivitop.

We are incredibly happy and grateful to be here and want to sincerely thank everyone who made this possible. A special thanks goes to the first users who tried SIMO live these days – among them Mattia Vernengo, who described SIMO as a groundbreaking development that helps him sit better, be more active, and drive his wheelchair with less effort.

And of course, a big thank you to the specialists and technicians from COF – without their dedication and expertise this amazing result would not have been possible.
Our special thanks goes to Salvatore Ferranti and Mauro de Benedictis, and also to Tilemachos Tilemachidis and Alessandro de Palma.

SIMO shows what the future of wheelchair provision can look like: precise, user-centered, and innovative. We are already looking forward to meeting again soon in Palermo!
