Gynedil’s mechanism of action is independent of the provider's experience:

✔By pulling the trigger, the pump still shrinks unexpectedly, Gynedil can be used on the same patient again during the same intervention, creating pressure inside the balloon of around 20 bars. The average resistance that the cervix provides is 8 bars, so Gynedil is strong enough to overcome that resistance.

✔By pulling the trigger, the pump placed inside of Gynedil injects pressurized sterile distilled water into the balloon dilator, creating pressure inside the balloon of around 20 bar. Average resistance that cervix provides is 8 bars, so Gynedil is strong enough to overcome that resistance.

Once the resistance is exceeded and full dilation is achieved (10mm), cervix stays dilated and re-dilation is not required.

✔In extreme cases if the still shrinks unexpectedly, Gynedil can be used at same patient again during the same intervention.

Did you know that by a metal dilator requires additional mechanical force and produces traction force, friction and pressure at the contact surface between the cervix and the active part of a Hegar dilator?

, unlike metal dilators, is inserted only once and the pressure that it produces is radially and evenly distributed around the cervical tissue.

By using Gynedil, you avoid multiple insertions, on the other hand, using metal dilators require multiple insertions and each one of them raises the risk of possible perforation, laceration, false route, or other adverse effects.

The is damaged every time a Hegar dilator is inserted into the canal during classical dilation. Traction, friction and load forces occur between the active part of the dilator and the tissue at the zone of contact.

With :
✔ Mechanical force is added evenly and laterally, to the entire surface of the cervical canal.

✔ Only radial resistance is present.

✔ The balloon is filled to the final diameter and gives complete dilation, no redilation is required.

✔ Only one insertion is performed.

📎First Slide: when applying Hegar dilators, 25% of mechanical work is used for of the cervical canal and 75% of it is used for overcoming the frontal resistance which is the cause of various histopathologies.
