Pure Ashtanga Yoga Darmstadt Pure Ashtanga Yoga Darmstadt Mitten im Herzen des Johannesviertel, in der Alicenstrasse 23, befindet sich unser kleines und sehr feines Yogastudio.

In überschaubaren Gruppen können wir einer individuellen Betreuung gerecht werden und Yoga auf sehr persönlicher Ebene vermitteln. Unser Schwerpunkt liegt bei der dynamischen und kraftvollen Ashtanga Vinyasa und Vinyasa Yoga Praxis. Entspannung, Meditation und Pranayama gehören für uns allerdings gleichermaßen dazu. Wir freuen uns sehr, über all die vertrauten Gesichter, möchten aber auch alle die Interessierten und neuen Schüler herzlich einladen, die Seele unseres Studios kennenzulernen.

What is meditation?
Meditation isn’t about becoming a different person, a new person, or even a better person. It’s about training in awareness and getting a healthy sense of perspective. You’re not trying to turn off your thoughts or feelings. You’re learning to observe them without judgment. And eventually, you may start to better understand them as well.

Meditation is a skill.
Learning to meditate is like learning any other skill. Think of it like exercising a muscle that you’ve never really worked out before. It takes consistent practice to get comfortable.

Yesterday afternoon I experienced a moment of inner restlessness and distraction. The trigger for this was that I was not allowed to do my daily practice due to medical treatment. This made me restless and suddenly I felt an even bigger urge to move and then I looked for alternative activities that would compensate for my excess energy .. Listening to music and cleaning up was one option - but that made the urge stronger to want to move .....When I was about to read a book, I noticed that after the fourth sentence I couldn't remember what the first was like. ... ..The thought of sitting at home and meditating there made me restless....

And then I remembered an experience I recently had again. Namely going out, going for a walk and enjoying the wonder of nature ... enjoying the scent and the sight of the plants, feeling the ground, the earth under my feet, the wind on my skin, listening to the animals in my surroundings ... so my way led me to my favorite place and I found the answer right there .. in nature. In the silence. In me. .. the conscious connection with nature helps me to come closer to myself. To be close to me also means to be close to all beings on this earth.

I was blessed with incredible gratitude, happiness, and ease when I started walking again an hour later.

I thank Mother Earth for this experience.
