The chance of a lifetime for all typewriter collectors: an originall Erika neon advertisement sign! I have got it from the property of an authorized Erika typewriter dealer and repairman.

Erika was a world famous typewriter brand by Seidel und Naumann from Dresden.
This sign was build between 1960-1970 by PGH Ilmenau - VEB Neontechnik Halle/ DDR. Almost all small and large DDR neon signs in was build by this company.

It was proved from a qualified neon tech in January 2017, some smal repairs at high voltage parts was made. Apart from that it is in original condition.

Hi, would be interessted in were you all came from and what your relation to typewriters is. Have seen we have many people from India and Pakistan here. Are you collectors or do you work with typewriters? It would be great to see some typewriters from your country, please post some pictures in the comments! Look at this amazing ultraflat french Rooy portable from 1953.
(Serial number 24.794)

It has an AZERTY layout and a uncommon build in case:
You open it, lift the machine and slide it, flip it, and slide it back. What was the top of the cover has now become the base.

The Rooy is one of the smallest typewriter ever was build. Inside its case, is a mere 4cm (1.6in) in depth, with open case 8cm (3,2in)!
This typewriter and its variants are highly sought cause only ~20.000 pieces was produced.
There are four known name variants of this Machine: the first was Rooy, later the machines are labeled as MJ Rooy, Roxy and Mascotte.

It is in very good optical and excellent working condition with only very slight signs of use.

Rare collectors intem with uncommon cream white finish. Most of this Continental typewriter are black.
Both of the cream white spools are also obtained.

It has also a very mysterious real leather case with separate paper tray, which was complete unknown till this one was found.
We suppose it must be a prototype or a custom built modell.

Very special typewriter, in near mint optical and excellent working condition.
