We would like to thank all participants of the delta T Cold Chain Conference in Brussels!

It was a pleasure to dive further into the world of temperature-controlled transport and validation together with you and to get to know some of our partners and customers personally. The following topics were in the spotlight: Innovations from delta T, sustainability and CO2 footprint in the Life Science sector, how IoT platforms simplify validations, history and new developments in cold chain transport and many more!

Specifically designed for temperature sensitive shipments of complete pallets of life science products, the HD [VIP] Pallet Insulator Transport System is manufac-tured from high density particle foam and vacuum insulation. Typical transport temperature ranges required by the pharmaceutical industry (2 to 8°C / 15 to 25°C / 2 to 25°C or deep frozen) can be achieved when the transport system is used in combination with delta T’s range of temperature stabilizing elements. A transport time of up to 240 hours can be achieved depending on the configuration of delta T temperature stabilizing elements within the pallet insulator transport system. Engineered to facilitate straightforward assembly by one person within a few minutes and with a sturdy final structure once built, the pallet insulators are the ideal solution for long distance transport of temperature sensitive goods. The specialized delta T fluid technology within the temperature stabilizing elements maintains the desired temperature within the entire payload space.
Design qualification and validation reports for various configurations are available upon request. Temperature data logging and tracking systems can be added to each configuration to accurately document the cold chain transport.

The current high temperatures make it difficult to transport medical products safely.
We at delta T have addressed this issue and developed special products for temperature-controlled transport from -50°C to +37°C.

CTTS 2019 – Cool 4 Two Days!

Good weather, great location, great participants - it couldn't have been better!

From the 14th to 15th of May 2019 the "Controlled Temperature Transport Summit 2019" took place in Schloss Braunfels.

Globalization poses complex challenges for pharmaceutical logistics: Manufacturers operate in new markets, send samples and medicines worldwide, and have stronger global networks. This creates a high demand for safe transport solutions for thermo-sensitive products, because supply chains are becoming more complex and - due to a multitude of interfaces - more vulnerable. This makes it all the more important for each individual actor to think outside the box and know as many sub-processes as possible.

Therefore we examined the topic of "temperature-controlled transport" from various perspectives.

Dr. Nehring opened the 2-day program with an inspiring lecture on current market developments and technical innovations in the field of thermo shipping. Further main topics: Validation & quality assurance, risk management in the supply chain, intelligent temperature recording, application of ThermoScan, cold chain transport & climate change as well as various user reports on the implementation of cooling systems in practice. En passant the participants could have a look at the latest delta T-products such as pallet shipper and thermo blanket.
